BMW of the Main Line | Philadelphia, PA

BMW of the Main Line, Philadelphia's BMW dealer, is looking for an experienced and motivated Service Advisor to join our team in a Saturday-focused role.

This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive professional who is passionate about customer service, enjoys working in a fast-paced dealership environment, and is looking for a consistent schedule with flexibility during the workweek.

Schedule: Every Saturday Required | Flexible Weekday Off

This position carries all the responsibilities, earning opportunities, and expectations of a full-time BMW Service Advisor, with a schedule designed around Saturday coverage. The selected candidate will work every Saturday and receive a flexible scheduled day off during the week, coordinated with management based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of Service Advisor experience in a dealership or automotive service environment; luxury automotive experience preferred
  • Strong commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Excellent communication, sales, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems; CDK experience is a plus
  • Professional attitude, appearance, and strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Availability to work every Saturday as part of the regular schedule
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screening, including driving record, drug screening, and background check

Responsibilities

  • Build lasting customer relationships while developing and maintaining a personal book of business
  • Greet, assist, and advise customers on all automotive maintenance and repair needs
  • Identify customer needs and professionally present recommended maintenance and repairs
  • Manage customer appointments, repair orders, and service workflow from initial write-up through vehicle delivery
  • Set clear customer expectations regarding service recommendations, pricing, and completion timelines
  • Maintain proactive, accurate, and timely communication throughout the service visit
  • Prepare, monitor, and complete accurate repair orders, estimates, and invoices
  • Maximize service opportunities while maintaining customer trust and satisfaction
  • Coordinate with technicians, shop management, and parts personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
  • Initiate and manage extended warranty and insurance claims as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all manufacturer warranty requirements, dealership policies, and applicable regulations
  • Provide clear explanations of completed repairs, recommendations, and declined services
  • Maintain accountability for individual performance, including repair order production, hours sold, effective labor rate, customer satisfaction, and other dealership performance objectives
  • Support Saturday service operations and collaborate with the service team to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Complete all required BMW factory and company training
