The posting

We are partnering with a leading footwear brand to identify an experienced Footwear Costing Manager based in Haiphong to lead regional costing operations and drive strategic costing initiatives across multiple brands and factory partners in Asia. This is a key leadership position for professionals with strong footwear manufacturing knowledge, commercial negotiation capability, and proven experience managing costing teams in a fast-paced global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the footwear costing function across multiple brands and product categories
  • Drive seasonal costing strategies to achieve target margin objectives
  • Partner closely with Development, Production, Materials, Supply Chain, and factory partners to optimize costing performance
  • Conduct factory negotiations and manage standard costing alignment with vendors
  • Analyze costing structures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and improve costing policies, processes, reporting standards, and operational efficiency
  • Provide strategic costing insights and reporting to leadership teams
  • Manage, coach, and develop the Brand Costing team while driving team performance and OKRs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Minimum 8 years of footwear costing and/or manufacturing experience
  • At least 3 years of people management experience
  • Strong understanding of footwear construction, manufacturing processes, and cost engineering
  • Proven experience in vendor/factory price negotiations
  • Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel and system skills
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic multinational environment
