Digitalisering en Industrie 4.0 staan centraal in de productiestrategie bij onze klant. Om IT en Operationele Technologie (OT) optimaal op elkaar af te stemmen, zoeken we een veelzijdige IT/OT System Engineer. Jij duikt graag in verschillende domeinen en weet de brug te slaan tussen de operationele fabrieksvloer en de IT-infrastructuur. Als cruciale schakel zorg jij ervoor dat onze productieprocessen en systemen perfect samenwerken.

  • Verantwoordelijk voor de continuïteit, optimalisatie en het beheer van de operations netwerkarchitectuur, inclusief de Windows-omgeving (servers & workstations), SQL/Oracle-databases en industriële communicatiesystemen
  • Begeleiden en coördineren van de oplevering van nieuwe IT/OT-oplossingen, software-upgrades en infrastructuurwijzigingen
  • Opzetten en verfijnen van Disaster Recovery-plannen en noodprocedureprotocollen ter waarborging van de bedrijfscontinuïteit
  • Actief versterken van de cybersecuritypostuur binnen de IT/OT-omgeving door de implementatie van beveiligingsinitiatieven
  • Nauwkeurig vastleggen van systeemconfiguraties, wijzigingsprocessen (Change Management) en incidentafhandeling
  • Beheren, monitoren en optimaliseren van de hard- en software assets gedurende hun gehele levenscyclus
  • Fungeren als spilfiguur tussen businessverantwoordelijken, interne afdelingen en externe IT/OT-leveranciers

Om deze taken succesvol te voltooien, heb je een bredere IT-kennis nodig. Verder beschik je idealiter ook over de nodige skills als projectleider om projecten succesvol van begin tot einde te begeleiden.

  • Opleiding & ervaring: Je beschikt over een Master in Informatica/Elektronica-ICT of hebt sterke ervaring opgebouwd in een IT- of operationele omgeving.
  • Systeem- & netwerkkennis: Windows en databases (SQL Server, Oracle) hebben voor jou geen geheimen. Daarnaast begrijp je hoe netwerken (TCP/IP, VLAN, firewalls) in elkaar steken.
  • Troeven die je voorsprong geven: Ervaring met productiesystemen (SCADA, MES), datavisualisatie (Power BI) of een passie voor Industry 4.0.
  • Persoonlijkheid & werkwijze: Je bent analytisch, pragmatisch en gericht op oplossingen én service. Nieuwsgierigheid en leergierigheid zitten in je DNA.
  • Communicatie & talen: Je communiceert vlot met diverse belanghebbenden in het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Mobiliteit: Flexibiliteit is voor jou vanzelfsprekend; je bent bereid op locatie te werken en woont bij voorkeur binnen een uur van Westerlo.
