Je hoofdtaken zijn:

  • Technisch ontwerp: Als leidende Mechanical & Piping project engineer binnen multidisciplinaire teams vertaal je proces- en projectvereisten naar sterke mechanische concepten en gedetailleerde ontwerpen (layouts, equipmentspecificaties, P&IDs, leidingschema's en isometrieën).
  • Aansturing en aanbesteding: Je stuurt externe engineeringpartners (EPCM) en contractanten aan en reviewt hun werk technisch. Daarnaast stel je specificaties, lastenboeken en RFQs op, evalueer je offertes en stem je technisch af met leveranciers van equipment en pipingcomponenten.
  • Projectondersteuning: Je ondersteunt de projectmanager bij kostenramingen, planningen en risicobeoordelingen, en beheert dit zelfstandig bij kleinere projecten.
  • Uitvoering en opstart: Je volgt de werfactiviteiten nauwgezet op (technische standaarden, veiligheid, punch lists) en biedt technische ondersteuning tijdens pre-commissioning en opstart van de installaties..

Wat breng jij mee:

  • Opleiding en ervaring: Technisch Bachelor- of Masterdiploma in Elektromechanica, Werktuigbouwkunde of gelijkwaardig, met minimaal 10 jaar relevante ervaring in mechanical & piping engineering in een industriële projectomgeving, waarvan minstens 3 jaar als Project Engineer.
  • Samenwerking met externe partners: Aantoonbare ervaring met het technisch aansturen van externe engineeringpartners (EPCM). Ervaring in een brownfield-omgeving is een sterke troef.
  • Technische kennis en tools: Diepgaande kennis van statische en roterende equipment, leidingsystemen, materialen, ondersteuningen, pompen, appendages en basistermodynamica, plus zelfstandig kunnen werken met 2D- en 3D-ontwerptools zoals AutoCAD of Plant 3D.
  • Persoonlijke vaardigheden en randvoorwaarden: Verantwoordelijkheidszin, assertiviteit, sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en een kostenbewuste, pragmatische instelling. Je bent in het bezit van een VCA-VOL certificaat (of bereid dit snel te behalen) en spreekt vloeiend Nederlands met een goede actieve kennis van het Engels.
