Job Summary

We are seeking a General Manager to lead business strategy, drive growth, and manage overall company operations with a focus on expanding ventures and partnerships in Singapore and the region.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute the company’s business strategy, annual plans, and growth targets to achieve measurable business outcomes
  • Oversee overall business performance by managing revenue, profitability, and cash flow to ensure financial health
  • Lead business expansion initiatives, new ventures, partnerships, and investment opportunities across Singapore and the region
  • Manage relationships with key clients, partners, investors, and government stakeholders to foster collaboration and business development
  • Build and lead a high-performing management team by establishing organisational structure and corporate governance frameworks
  • Review financial reports regularly to ensure sound financial and risk management practices
  • Represent the company in business negotiations and external engagements to advance strategic interests
  • Report business results and strategic initiatives effectively to the Board of Directors

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Management, Finance, or related field
  • MBA qualification is an advantage
  • At least 10 years of working experience, including 5 years in senior leadership roles
  • Proven track record in business growth, profit and loss management, and team leadership
  • Experience in cross-border business, especially with China and Southeast Asia, is an advantage
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
