Job Advertisement – Production Operative / Machine Operative

Location: Luton Pay Rate: £13.71 per hour Shift Pattern: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off, followed by 4 Nights On / 4 Days Off

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join our team at a busy manufacturing facility in Luton.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a straightforward production role involving basic machine operation within a clean and organised working environment.

The role involves operating machinery, carrying out simple production tasks and ensuring products are manufactured to the required standards. Full training will be provided, so previous machine operating experience is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating basic production machinery.
  • Loading and unloading materials into machines.
  • Monitoring machines during the production process.
  • Carrying out simple quality checks.
  • Ensuring products meet the required standards.
  • Keeping the workstation clean and tidy.
  • Following health and safety procedures.

Working Hours

The shift pattern is a rotating continental shift:

  • 4 days working.
  • 4 days off.
  • 4 nights working.
  • 4 days off.
  • Repeat rotation.

Requirements
