In this role you will:

  • Liaise with parents/carers, staff, and external agencies to promote good attendance.
  • Support daily interventions for students with persistent absence.
  • Monitor daily attendance and punctuality, following up on absences in line with our school policy.
  • Support the preparation of attendance reports for senior leaders and governors.
  • Support with the analysis and interpretation of attendance and student data to make informed decisions, measure impact and support continuous improvement in attendance across our school.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records using our MIS system.
  • Make absence calls and follow up unexplained absence.
  • Work with students and families to discuss barriers preventing a child from attending.
  • Work with families to agree practical strategies for improving attendance.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils who are struggling with attendance.
  • Carry out attendance check-ins and return-to-school conversations.
  • Help anxious or reluctant pupils feel confident about returning.
  • Work with pastoral staff, safeguarding teams and SEND staff where appropriate.

We offer:

  • A role where your work really matters
  • The opportunity to work in a team who are invested in creating the conditions to support the growth of others

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
