We are seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications deployed on containerized platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with local and offshore development teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications based on business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with local and offshore development teams in an Agile / Scrum environment to deliver project objectives.
  • Apply software development best practices across code quality, testing, CI/CD, and application security.
  • Develop and integrate application components with messaging platforms, databases, and web/mobile front-end systems.
  • Support application deployment and maintenance across containerized environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues relating to performance, stability, and security.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience.

Hands-on experience in Java EE development, preferably with IBM WebSphere.

Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman, and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.

Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Solace and IBM MQ.

Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, JDBC, REST APIs, WebSocket, and Single Sign-On (SSO).

Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Kubernetes or OpenShift certification.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
  • Exposure to container security or application security practices.
  • Familiarity with Flutter / Dart for mobile application development.
  • Exposure to Node.js development.
