Newxel is an AI-native talent solutions company. We provide talent solutions and close engineering roles in the format that works best for the client: from hiring specialists directly into the client's staff, to engaging engineers through our European hubs, to Employer of Record services. Whether it is a single position or a full R&D centre with dedicated labs.

We have been on the market for nine years, with revenue of about $20M, six legal entities, and clients such as Check Point, HiBob and Renesas. Our own platform screens 1,000+ candidates in under 10 minutes, and we handle the recruitment and hiring of engineers ourselves.

We run the operating model and infrastructure this requires: local recruiters, deep HR expertise that keeps retention high, and legal and financial structures in every region where we operate. This is what this role will develop, finance, structure and support, while also supporting the company through its transformation into a product company, where services are delivered through platform solutions.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

We need a finance leader who can fund and structure that transformation: raise capital, build the corporate architecture for new markets, and make the economics of the new model provable to investors.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Capital & Investors: Own the fundraising process end to end: investment story, financial model, data room, investor pipeline, negotiations, and closing. Be the primary finance contact for investors between funding rounds.

Corporate Structure & New Markets: Design and execute entity, licensing, and tax structures in new jurisdictions, starting with the UAE. Deliver options with timelines, costs, and a recommendation—not a research memo.

Financial Management: Own group P&L, cash flow, and forecasting. Build the financial model around service versus product unit economics, R&D and intangible asset capitalisation, and pricing and margin architecture across delivery locations.

Finance & Legal Leadership: Lead a distributed Finance and Legal team, establish standards, and build the reporting cadence the company can operate on.

Governance & Risk: Own multi-jurisdiction tax and compliance, contract architecture (MSA, IP assignment, non-solicitation), certifications (ISO 27001, ISO 9001), and GDPR.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

MUST-HAVE

- CFO or Head of Finance in a company of 100+ people, in a service or product-service business.

- You have scaled a business globally across multiple locations and jurisdictions, with headcount or revenue growing several times over while you were there, and you rebuilt the economics as the business grew. A service-operational model is the baseline; a service-to-product transition is the strongest signal.

- Hands-on experience raising capital - equity, debt, or strategic investment. We will ask for specifics: stage, size, investors, and your personal role.

- Set up legal entities in at least two jurisdictions from scratch, including structure choice, licensing, tax and transfer pricing, and banking.

- Experience leading Finance together with Legal.

- Investor-level English

- Based in Warsaw.

STRONG PLUS

- Experience in IT outsourcing, staff augmentation, EOR, or ODC.

- IAS 38 and intangible asset capitalisation.

- VC- or PE-backed company experience and board reporting.

- UAE, DIFC, or ADGM experience.

- M&A.
