Job Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines to perform milling, drilling, grinding, and other precision machining operations.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and dimensional tolerances to understand machining requirements.
  • Prepare and load raw materials, workpieces, tooling, and fixtures onto machines.
  • Perform machine setup, tool setting, offset adjustments, and parameter adjustments according to machining requirements.
  • Conduct test runs and first-piece inspections to ensure machined parts meet the required specifications.
  • Operate and monitor machines during production, making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and productivity.
  • Inspect and measure finished products using appropriate measuring instruments to ensure compliance with dimensional and quality requirements.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting, identify machining or equipment issues, and escalate them to the relevant team when necessary.
  • Carry out daily machine checks and basic maintenance to ensure machines remain in good working condition.
  • Maintain proper standards of quality, safety, productivity, and 5S in the workplace.
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc assignments as required by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant experience as a CNC Machinist or CNC Machine Operator in a precision machining or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and dimensional tolerances.
  • Familiarity with cutting tools, tooling, fixtures, measuring instruments, and machining processes.
  • Hands-on experience in machine setup, tool setting, offset adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
