Vill du arbeta med verksamhetskritiska databaser och bidra till att utveckla framtidens databasplattform? Nexer Infrastructure söker en DBA med erfarenhet av Oracle och/eller PostgreSQL för ett uppdrag hos en kund inom bank och finans.

Här får du kombinera kvalificerad databasdrift med automatisering, förbättringsarbete och modernisering i en tekniskt komplex miljö med höga krav på säkerhet, stabilitet och tillgänglighet.

Om rollen

Som DBA får du en central roll i att säkerställa en stabil, säker och effektiv databasmiljö. Du arbetar med hela databasens livscykel, från installation och konfiguration till drift, optimering och uppgraderingar.

Du bidrar även till att vidareutveckla plattformen, där PostgreSQL är ett prioriterat område. Rollen innebär nära samarbete med interna teknikteam och externa leverantörer, med stort eget ansvar och möjlighet att påverka tekniska lösningar och arbetssätt.

Dina arbetsuppgifter omfattar att:

  • Installera och konfigurera Oracle- och PostgreSQL-databaser samt ansvara för drift och livscykelhantering.
  • Arbeta med övervakning, prestandaoptimering och felsökning.
  • Hantera backup och återställning tillsammans med angränsande team.
  • Planera och genomföra patchning och uppgraderingar.
  • Automatisera återkommande uppgifter och utveckla plattformens processer.
  • Delta i beredskap och samverka med interna och externa parter.

Teamet och teknikmiljön

Du blir en del av ett erfaret team med tolv medarbetare inom bland annat serverdrift, automatisering, behörighetssystem och databashantering. En Team Coach samordnar det dagliga arbetet och en Tech Lead ansvarar för arkitektur och tekniska vägval.

Teamet ingår i ett större plattformsområde som arbetar med tjänster både i molnet och i egna datorhallar. Miljön utvecklas kontinuerligt med fokus på automatisering, effektivisering och robusta plattformar. Samarbete och kunskapsdelning är en naturlig del av vardagen.

Vem söker vi?

Vi söker dig som har en stabil grund inom databashantering och trivs med att kombinera operativ drift med långsiktigt förbättringsarbete.

Vi ser att du har:

  • Erfarenhet av installation och konfiguration av Oracle och/eller PostgreSQL.
  • Erfarenhet av drift och underhåll av databaser.
  • Kunskap inom övervakning, backup och återställning.
  • Erfarenhet av patchning och uppgraderingar.
  • Vana att arbeta i Linuxmiljö, framför allt Red Hat Enterprise Linux, RHEL.
  • Erfarenhet av scripting, exempelvis shell.
  • Förmåga att kommunicera obehindrat på svenska och engelska, i både tal och skrift.

Det är meriterande om du även har erfarenhet av:

  • Commvault.
  • Lösningar för hög tillgänglighet, exempelvis Oracle Data Guard och Oracle RAC.
  • Automatisering och effektivisering av databasdrift och plattformsförvaltning.

Som person är du nyfiken, lösningsorienterad och ansvarstagande. Du kan prioritera och driva dina uppgifter självständigt, samtidigt som du uppskattar samarbete och delar med dig av din kunskap. Du vill hålla dig uppdaterad inom ditt område och bidra till både din egen och teamets utveckling.
