Vi söker nu en Android Platform Software Engineer till vår kund med minst ett års arbetslivserfarenhet inom Android- och AOSP-utveckling. Här får du möjlighet att arbeta med utveckling av avancerad mjukvara i en tekniskt driven miljö, där du får vara med och utveckla lösningar som används i verkliga produkter.

Att jobba som Android Software Engineer hos vår kund

Vår kund är ett teknikdrivet bolag som utvecklar avancerade produkter och lösningar där mjukvara spelar en central roll. Här arbetar du tillsammans med kompetenta kollegor i en miljö där innovation, kvalitet och teknisk utveckling står i fokus.

Som Android Platform Software Engineer blir du en del av ett utvecklingsteam som arbetar med Android-plattformen och plattformsnära mjukvara. Du får möjlighet att arbeta med både nyutveckling och vidareutveckling, från implementation och integration till testning och kontinuerliga förbättringar.

Rollen innebär bland annat arbete med Android Framework, system services och integration av native C++-komponenter. Du kommer även att bidra i design- och kodgranskningar, arbeta med CI/CD och ha nära samarbete med andra utvecklingsteam och projekt.

Du kommer också att få möjlighet att arbeta med Android OS-uppgraderingar och plattformsmigreringar, där du säkerställer att lösningarna fungerar väl över tid och är kompatibla med nya versioner och tekniska förutsättningar.

Detta är ett konsultuppdrag via Nexer Tech Talent med plan på övergång i anställning direkt hos vår kund under förutsättning att samarbetet fungerar bra för båda parter. Rollen är placerad i Göteborg.

Vi söker dig som

  • Har minst 1 års arbetslivserfarenhet inom Android- och/eller AOSP-utveckling
  • Har en civilingenjörsexamen inom datateknik, mjukvaruteknik, elektroteknik eller motsvarande
  • Har goda kunskaper i C++ samt erfarenhet av Android Framework och HAL-utveckling
  • Har erfarenhet av Android OS-uppgraderingar, API-förändringar eller plattformsmigreringar
  • Har erfarenhet av Python, Jenkins och CI/CD
  • Har mycket goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, både i tal och skrift

Det är starkt meriterande om du har erfarenhet av Kotlin eller Unity, samt gärna av exempelvis AOSP:s build system, Linux Kernel eller integration mot hårdvaruplattformar.

Som person är du nyfiken, lösningsorienterad och trivs med att sätta dig in i komplexa tekniska frågeställningar. Du tycker om att förstå hur olika delar hänger ihop och tar gärna ett helhetsansvar för dina uppgifter. Du är självgående i ditt arbete, men uppskattar samtidigt att samarbeta och utbyta kunskap med andra. Du vågar utmana befintliga lösningar och ser möjligheter att hitta smartare och mer effektiva sätt att arbeta.
