The posting

Vi söker en databasutvecklare till ett uppdrag hos en myndighet i Stockholm. Uppdraget är inriktat på systemmigrering från Oracle till PostgreSQL i en transaktionsintensiv miljö med stora datamängder.

Arbetet omfattar konvertering och anpassning av databaslogik från Oracle PL/SQL till PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL. I rollen ingår även att analysera befintlig kod, hantera skillnader mellan plattformarna samt säkerställa att den migrerade lösningen fungerar korrekt och effektivt i den nya databasmiljön.

Du blir en del av ett team med hjälpsamma och kunniga kollegor som stöttar dig i att komma in i uppdraget och den tekniska miljön. Samtidigt söker vi dig som är motiverad och engagerad, snabbt sätter dig in i nya tekniska sammanhang och självständigt driver ditt arbete framåt.

Vi söker dig som har:

  • Minst fyra års erfarenhet av databasutveckling.
  • Minst ett års erfarenhet av databasutveckling i både Oracle PL/SQL och PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL.
  • Erfarenhet av att migrera eller porta kod från Oracle och PL/SQL till PostgreSQL och PL/pgSQL.
  • Erfarenhet av transaktionsintensiva system som hanterar stora datamängder.
  • Erfarenhet av versions- och förändringshantering med exempelvis Git eller Liquibase.
  • Flytande kunskaper i svenska, både i tal och skrift.

För att lyckas i uppdraget behöver du arbeta strukturerat, vara nyfiken och ha lätt för att ta till dig nya arbetssätt och tekniska lösningar. Du samarbetar väl med andra, tar egna initiativ och bidrar aktivt till teamets gemensamma leverans.
