Position: ED - Global Wealth Management (Retail/Private Banking Channel)

He/she needs deep fixed-income market knowledge, able to debate duration, inflation, credit cycles with private bankers and DPMs.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead our Global Wealth Management team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in retail and private banking connections, with a proven track record of driving growth and delivering exceptional client service.

  • Senior client‑facing role: strategic relationship management, disciplined sales execution; position firm's public & private market capabilities to sophisticated wealth clients
  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative mindset; build long‑term trusted partnerships to drive sustainable commercial growth

Key Responsibilities

‑ Develop & execute targeted HongKong private wealth distribution strategy with clear priorities, account plans and measurable commercial objectives

‑ Deepen strategic relationships with private banks, fund selectors, investment advisers, DPMs, RMs and senior wealth‑channel decision‑makers

‑ Drive fund penetration, net new flows and revenue growth via needs‑based, solution‑led positioning of investment capabilities

‑ Represent firm at senior client meetings, briefings, investment forums, roadshows, training and partner‑hosted events

‑ Partner with investment, product, marketing, client service, legal, compliance and operations teams for seamless client delivery

‑ Provide market intelligence, client feedback and distribution insights to inform product positioning, campaigns and new business opportunities

‑ Manage sales pipeline, maintain accurate CRM records and structured follow‑ups for governance & business planning

‑ Contribute to Asia Client Group strategy: cross‑border collaboration, share best practices, build firm profile across private‑wealth ecosystem

Must‑Have Requirements

‑ Min. 10years' experience in asset management distribution / private banking / wealth‑management sales; solid exposure to HK private‑wealth market

‑ Proven track record growing intermediary relationships and delivering against sales & commercial targets

‑ Sound understanding of private‑bank distribution, product‑approval processes, portfolio‑construction and needs of fund selectors / advisers / RMs ‑ Strong public‑market investment knowledge; able to credibly discuss equities, fixed income, multi‑asset and alternatives with sophisticated stakeholders

‑ Excellent communication & presentation skills; ability to simplify complex investment concepts for different audiences ‑ Strong stakeholder‑management, maturity and professionalism to engage senior internal & external contacts

‑ Highly organised, execution‑focused; manage multiple priorities with ownership and consistent follow‑through ‑ Collaborative, works effectively within matrix cross‑functional / cross‑geography environment

Nice‑to‑Have ‑ Existing senior networks across HK private banks, family offices, EAMs and wealth distribution partners ‑ Distribution experience covering private markets, alternatives, thematic strategies and bespoke investment solutions

‑ Qualifications: CFA, CAIA or relevant finance / investment credentials

‑ Hands‑on with Salesforce / CRM tools; strong PowerPoint & Excel proficiency ‑ Working‑level Mandarin for Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders

‑ Experience supporting regional Asia sales strategy, campaign planning or new‑business‑development initiatives
