The posting

About the Role

Nexxen's SSP connects publishers to programmatic demand across web, ctv mobile app and mobile web. Because publishers integrate with us in different ways, we need someone who can be the technical expert across openRTB, prebid.js, mediation SDKs.

This role owns the technical, end to end integrations with publishers: helping publishers implement and troubleshoot their chosen integration path, validating that ad requests and responses are flowing correctly, and translating publisher feedback and issues into clear requirements for product and engineering. This role is based in our Tel Aviv office and works daily with publishers, partners, and colleagues across global markets. You'll report into Product, working closely with SSP product leadership and platform engineering to make sure integrations are scoped accurately, shipped reliably, and supported after launch.

What You'll Do

- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for publisher integrations across all three paths into the SSP: third-party mobile mediation SDKs, Prebid client-side wrappers, and direct server-to-server OpenRTB.

- Support commercial teams and provide technical guidance for publishers through implementation — reviewing their mediation SDK setup, Prebid config (ad units, params, adapter/module set), or OpenRTB request construction — and troubleshoot integration issues end to end.

- Review publishers’ integration specs and requirements, and analyze and validate bid request/response payloads (OpenRTB) and Prebid.js configurations to confirm parameters are being passed, parsed, and rendered correctly across each integration path.

- Apply a working understanding of ad delivery and rendering (including VAST-based video ad delivery on web) to debug tag/creative rendering, tracking, and playback issues raised by publishers.

- Translate publisher technical questions, bug reports, and ad hoc requirements into clear, structured input that product and engineering can act on.

- Partner with SSP product managers to scope integration-related roadmap items, distinguishing quick technical fixes from larger initiatives that require product or platform changes.

- Write and maintain publisher-facing integration documentation, implementation guidesand troubleshooting runbooks for each integration path, as well as the documentation for internal hand-off process.

- Triage and debug integration issues in production — delivery discrepancies, malformed bid or ad-tag responses, misconfigured mediation waterfalls, Prebid setup errors — in partnership with engineering and data science.

- Represent the technical feasibility and constraints of the SSP platform in conversations with publishers, sales, and account teams, helping set realistic scope and timelines.

- Contribute to internal tooling and self-serve documentation that reduces the manual lift of future publisher onboarding.

What You Bring

- 3+ years in a technical, publisher- or partner-facing role in programmatic advertising or ad tech (solutions engineering, technical account management, publisher integration/support, or similar).

- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; able to switch between a deeply technical conversation with a publisher's engineers and a scoping conversation with internal product/commercial stakeholders.

- Working understanding of how publishers integrate mobile app inventory via third-party mediation SDKs — comfortable troubleshooting SDK configuration and ad-call issues from the publisher's side, even without owning SDK development.

- Hands-on experience with Prebid.js (or Prebid Mobile) client-side integrations — ad unit setup, bidder/module configuration, and debugging auction behavior.

- Solid understanding of OpenRTB and server-to-server bidding — comfortable reading and reasoning about raw bid request/response JSON.

- Working knowledge of VAST-based video ad delivery on web — tag structure, wrappers, tracking events, and common player integration issues.

- Strong analytical skills - comfortable pulling and interpreting data (SQL or similar) to validate whether an integration is working as intended.

- A track record of owning ambiguous, cross-functional problems and driving them to a clear, documented outcome.

- Comfortable working directly with product management in an agile/sprint-based environment, even without a formal engineering reporting line.

Nice to Have

- Experience with CTV/OTT app ad delivery and associated standards.

- Familiarity with specific mobile mediation platforms and how their waterfalls/adapters are configured.

- Basic scripting ability (Python, JavaScript) for building quick validation tools or parsing bid/ad-tag logs.

- Prior experience onboarding publishers across more than one integration path (SDK, Prebid, and/or OpenRTB) from scoping through launch.

Reporting & Team

This role reports into the SSP Product organization (not Engineering), and works in close daily collaboration with SSP product managers, platform engineering and platform operations. You'll also regularly interface with publisher technical teams and internal account/commercial teams supporting those relationships.

Why Nexxen

Nexxen operates a full-stack programmatic platform — SSP, DSP, and Discovery — giving this role visibility into both sides of the marketplace and a direct line to how integration decisions affect publisher yield. You'll help shape how publisher onboarding gets built and supported, not just handle tickets after the fact.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
