  • Participate in modeling and algorithm projects to meet program schedules.
  • Maintain and modify modeling and analysis tools in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB, in both HPC and lab settings.
  • Collaborate with systems, software, firmware, and hardware team members to carry out M&S tasks and support requirements and verification activities.
  • Support lab and test activities, assist in comparing model predictions with test data, and help update models as needed.
  • Prepare and present technical findings to internal teams, including supporting design and readiness reviews.
  • Follow standards and best practices for coding, documentation, and configuration management, contributing to continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience; or Master’s degree.
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
  • Experience (could be from internships or coursework) with image or signal processing, and implementing algorithms in C, C++, MATLAB, or Python.
  • Understanding basic EO/IR modeling concepts and exposure to hardware-based model validation.
  • Knowledge of optical systems and EO/IR imaging fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with running simulations in high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and communicate technical results to team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related discipline.
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
  • Experience working in a team supporting missile, hypersonic, or other high-reliability systems.
  • Exposure to defense or aerospace development standards or programs.
  • Familiarity with hardware/software integration and real-time or physics-based systems modeling.
  • Coursework or projects using C/C++, MATLAB, Python, and operating in Linux environments.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
