TCC SOCCENT FSR:

Nightwing is seeking a Part time (PT) rotational employee to work as a Technical Collections and Communications (TCC) Field Service Representative in support of a DoD contract providing technical equipment advisory and support for SOCOM efforts in the SOCCENT AOR. Responsibilities include assisting with various tasks like equipment installation, system configuration and maintenance. You should also be able to troubleshoot systems, identify problems and write reports. Requires travel overseas. Location: Jordan.

This is a OCONUS PT position with 90 days on and 90 days off in the SOCCENT/CENTCOM AOR. Location: Jordan.

* All candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Mentor and advice senior military personnel on various equipment, technical capabilities and employment Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs) for utilizing Tactical Advanced Sensors (TAS) equipment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) for employing TAS devices based on equipment capabilities and other critical factors.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in testing and installing audio and video server applications.
  • Coordination with NW headquarters for specialized program support.
  • Provide technical expertise and operational perspective for new equipment and integration efforts.
  • Conduct research and develop best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance / SCI
  • Retired or former Special Operations soldier 5 years of United States military experience in a similar capacity.
  • Recent combat experience.
  • Experience with technical information collection equipment to support current SOCCENT/CENTCOM objectives.
  • Experience with web-based applications including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and various viewing software programs such as: Osprey, Google Earth, C2PC, Streets and Trips, and Map Printability
  • Must be able to travel independently and operate for periods of time without supervision.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other technical products.
  • Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.
  • Must be able to carry a 35-pound load with no assistance.
  • CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements to support Unit.

  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate with management, customers, and employees.
  • Skill in various fabrication techniques, such as metal work, fiber glass, additive/ subtractive manufacturing and associated CNC software.

Typically requires:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions.

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
