Designer Color Design - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Lead color design strategy and execution for all accessories, footwear and apparel within the ACG business unit at Nike, while supporting seasonal color development initiatives across apparel and footwear categories to ensure cohesive brand storytelling and product alignment. Research, conceptualize, and develop innovative seasonal color palettes, material applications, and visual narratives that align with ACG’s performance-driven design philosophy, consumer insights, global market trends, and Nike brand standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with apparel designers, footwear designers, graphic designers, technical developers, product managers, and merchandising teams to create commercially viable and market-ready products that elevate brand identity and consumer engagement. Utilize advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD), digital illustration, and VIZCOM rendering tools to produce high-quality visual presentations, color renderings, concept boards, and design specifications that communicate design intent throughout the product creation lifecycle. Drive end-to-end color execution from initial concept development through commercialization, including color mapping, material and trim selection, prototype reviews, lab dip approvals, manufacturing communication, and production validation. Analyze consumer behavior, cultural trends, outdoor performance influences, and competitive market landscapes to develop unique and differentiated color solutions that strengthen the ACG product line within the global sportswear and fashion industry.Partner with global manufacturing teams, material vendors, and product creation partners to ensure accurate color consistency, production feasibility, and adherence to Nike quality standards across multiple product categories and supply chain environments. Apply expertise in product creation, manufacturing innovation, and supply chain coordination to optimize color application processes, improve production efficiencies, and support scalable product development initiatives. Present seasonal design concepts, color direction strategies, and product narratives to internal leadership and cross-functional stakeholders through compelling visual communication, rendering, and storytelling techniques. Contribute specialized expertise in fashion design, color theory, product visualization, and apparel innovation gained through advanced academic training. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.

Must have a Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Architectural Design, or Product Design and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a designer-related occupation.
