WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role is part of the Footwear Product Testing organization and reports directly to the Manager, Running & ACG Product Testing, based in China. The role partners closely with Footwear Product Testing Analysts and Managers, Nike’s Product Management Office, Operations, Product Management and Product Creation teams, Global and Geo Hub partners, external athlete communities, and consumer and athlete research partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike is looking for an athlete-centered professional who is passionate about connecting with athletes and communities and bringing their perspectives into product creation. The ideal candidate combines relationship-building skills with analytical thinking, project leadership, and curiosity about athlete needs and experiences. This person can operate effectively in an evolving environment, identify opportunities across functions and sports, and develop scalable solutions that strengthen how Nike listens to and learns from athletes. They can build trusted partnerships, influence without authority, and translate qualitative and quantitative information into clear recommendations. They also bring strong communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills and can manage multiple projects and stakeholders while delivering work against defined timelines.

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working directly with athletes, consumers, or communities and managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence across functions, and work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in product testing, consumer insights, research, community engagement, athlete services, or footwear product creation is preferred.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will lead initiatives that strengthen Nike’s ability to access, engage, and learn from athletes and communities. Working across Footwear Product Testing and Product Creation, you will deliver on-site development testing, build scalable engagement practices, and translate athlete experiences into insights that support timely product decisions.

  • Lead on-site development testing across multiple sports within defined timelines, partnering with internal and external Product Creation teams.
  • Develop athlete and community engagement strategies and scalable approaches for athlete recruitment, onboarding, participation, and retention.
  • Connect the right athletes to the right product questions and support testing strategies that improve the quality and relevance of athlete feedback.
  • Identify cross-sport learning opportunities and lead initiatives that strengthen athlete access, representation, and engagement across Footwear Product Testing.
  • Establish best practices, standards, processes, and tools that improve the consistency and impact of athlete engagement and testing activities.
  • Translate athlete experiences and qualitative and quantitative findings into actionable insights and recommendations for Product Creation partners.
  • Partner with the Product Management Office, Sport Analysts, Global Hub teams, research partners, and other stakeholders to identify future testing and athlete-engagement opportunities and build capability across the global network.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
