Als SHE Manager Benelux geef je leiding aan het SHE-team voor onze activiteiten in België en Nederland. Je zorgt ervoor dat we voldoen aan de geldende veiligheids- en milieuwetgeving, adviseert het management en Operations en vertaalt SHE-uitdagingen naar concrete verbeteringen.

Je staat dicht bij de dagelijkse werking en bent regelmatig aanwezig op onze verschillende sites. Tegelijk krijg je de ruimte om verbeterprojecten te leiden, onze SHE-organisatie verder te ontwikkelen en een team van vijf SHE-professionals aan te sturen.

Daarnaast maak je deel uit van een internationaal netwerk van collega’s die zich binnen onze Europese organisatie inzetten voor veiligheid, gezondheid en milieu. Zo krijg je volop kansen om kennis en ervaringen uit te wisselen en internationaal samen te werken.

Jouw rol

In deze veelzijdige functie combineer je leidinggeven, adviseren, compliance en projectmanagement. Je:

  • geeft leiding aan het SHE-team voor België en Nederland en ondersteunt de verdere ontwikkeling van het team;
  • neemt voor de Belgische organisatie de wettelijke rol van Preventieadviseur Niveau 1 en hoofd van de IDPBW op;
  • volgt ontwikkelingen in veiligheids- en milieuwetgeving op en vertaalt deze naar concrete acties binnen de organisatie;
  • adviseert het management en Operations en werkt met hen samen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van onze veiligheidscultuur;
  • initieert en begeleidt SHE-projecten en zorgt voor de nodige wettelijke rapporteringen en opvolging van milieuvergunningen;
  • bewaakt onze SHE-managementsystemen en ondersteunt audits, inspecties en de naleving van onder meer ISO 14001, VCA en Seveso;
  • onderzoekt belangrijke incidenten en ondersteunt risicoanalyses en verbeteracties, onder andere via RCA, HAZOP en LOPA;
  • onderhoudt nauw contact met Operations en lokale autoriteiten en is regelmatig aanwezig op onze sites in België en Nederland.

Je:

  • hebt bij voorkeur 5 tot 10 jaar relevante SHE-ervaring, idealiter binnen een industriële of complexe operationele omgeving;
  • beschikt over de kwalificatie Preventieadviseur Niveau 1;
  • hebt ervaring met people management en het begeleiden van medewerkers;
  • hebt een goede kennis van veiligheids- en milieuwetgeving. Milieucoördinator Niveau A is een pluspunt;
  • hebt ervaring met process safety, risk assessments, incidentonderzoek en relevante managementsystemen;
  • hebt kennis van Seveso en chemische regelgeving, zoals REACH en ADR. Dit is een sterke troef;
  • beschikt over sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en werkt vlot samen met zowel Operations als management;
  • hebt een zeer goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels. Frans, Duits en/of kennis van de Nederlandse SHE-context is een pluspunt;
  • bent standvastig wanneer veiligheid of compliance daarom vraagt en durft indien nodig in te grijpen;
  • combineert een pragmatische instelling met een sterk bewustzijn van wetgeving en risico’s;
  • bent graag zichtbaar op de werkvloer en begrijpt dat SHE niet alleen vanuit procedures wordt opgebouwd;
  • kunt schakelen tussen strategische verbeterprojecten en concrete operationele vraagstukken;
  • werkt vlot samen over verschillende sites, disciplines en landsgrenzen heen.
