The posting

NMBS, dat is met de glimlach mensen verbinden en hen nieuwe bestemmingen helpen ontdekken. Op de meest groene manier. Dat is reusachtige machines van 100 ton en 5000 kW besturen en onderhouden. De toekomst van mobiliteit inschatten en uittekenen. Stations bouwen waar mensen elkaar ontmoeten, werken en op weg naar huis nog snel even winkelen. Onderweg. Naar de toekomst van mobiliteit.

Hoe maak jij onze klanten blij ?

Als bestuurder spoorwegvoertuigen zorg je ervoor dat de locomotieven veilig én op tijd in en uit de werkplaats rijden. In de Tractiewerkplaats van Antwerpen worden zowel locomotieven van NMBS als van andere spoorwegondernemingen onderhouden. Jij draagt dus rechtstreeks bij aan een veilige en kwaliteitsvolle dienstverlening voor interne en externe klanten.

Wat is jouw rol bij NMBS ?

Als bestuurder spoorwegvoertuigen combineer je techniek, veiligheid en samenwerking.

Je hoofdtaak is locomotieven in treinbundels en werkplaatsen verplaatsen. Maar dat is niet alles!

  • Je (ont)koppelt locomotieven, rijtuigen en wagens.
  • Je bestuurt locomotieven en werkt ook met andere spoorwegvoertuigen (zoals een overlader).
  • Je begeleidt de opduwbewegingen van locomotieven in de werkplaats.
  • Je bouwt algemene kennis op over het treinmaterieel.

Wat maakt deze job uitdagend?

  • Je werkt volgens strikte veiligheidsprocedures.
  • Je schakelt tussen verschillende taken (rijden, koppelen, technische checks).
  • Je werkt samen met verschillende collega's.
  • Je werkt in een ploegensysteem (vroeg, laat, weekend)
  • Je behaalde een getuigschrift van het technisch secundair onderwijs (na 4 jaar) of van het beroepsonderwijs (na 6 jaar) (OK3) in het studiegebied mechanica/elektriciteit of een gelijkwaardigheidsattest. OF je bent gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring.
  • Je bent graag fysiek bezig, in de buitenlucht.
  • Je hebt interesse in (voertuig)techniek.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en veiligheidsbewust.
  • Je werkt graag in team.
  • Je wilt werken in een flexibel uurrooster.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands, mondeling en schriftelijk.
  • Je bent stressbestendig.
