The posting

What do we do?

At Nortek, we develop and manufacture world-leading instruments that collect information about the processes taking place in our oceans. We need to understand more about the role of the oceans in areas such as climate, food production, health, business activities and energy production. Our technology is used, among other things, for studies of coral reefs, navigation of underwater vehicles, measurement of currents and quality assurance of fish farming. The interest in the ocean is increasing, and our company is growing. With us, you will contribute to products that can benefit the climate and millions of people.

What qualifications are we looking for?

We are primarily looking for candidates with a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree for example in engineering or subsea technology role. We are especially looking for candidates for positions as:

  • Software developer; web-stack (Vue, Node, Azure)
  • Sales Engineer
  • Subsea Robotics and Autonomy Advisor
  • Production Technicians

Relevant work experience is highly regarded and can compensate for a lack of formal or academic education.

To succeed in the role, it is important that you have the following personal qualities:

  • You are proactive and genuinely committed to finding good solutions
  • You have a sincere desire to share and develop your knowledge
  • You are structured, responsible and can follow up your tasks and connections in a trust-building manner
  • You are results-oriented, self-motivated and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same
  • You collaborate easily with others and contribute to a good working environment
  • You have good communication skills in English and preferably also Norwegian, written and spoken.
