Maximize your potential. Minimize your footprint.

Nortek Data Center Cooling builds the systems that keep modern data centers running — from liquid cooling to large‑scale air solutions. Our work supports some of the world’s most demanding AI and hyperscale environments, and we solve those challenges with engineering depth and practical execution.

We keep things simple here. We communicate early, stay close to the details, and follow through. When issues come up, we address them directly, not with layers of process. Customers count on us because we do what we say and we keep projects moving.

Our culture is hands‑on and collaborative. People take ownership, move quickly, and help each other. If you like working with teammates who are straightforward and accountable, you’ll feel at home.

This position ensures that materials are received, stored, staged, and delivered to the production line accurately and on time while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse operation.

The supervisor will lead warehouse associates and material handlers, establish clear work expectations, monitor performance, and partner closely with Production, Materials, Quality, and Maintenance to prevent production interruptions caused by material shortages, incorrect parts, or poor material flow.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and material-handling employees supporting the product line.
  • Establish clear expectations for attendance, productivity, safety, housekeeping, and work performance.
  • Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate priorities, production requirements, and issues.
  • Hold team members accountable for following standard work and material-handling procedures.
  • Develop employees through cross-training and skill development.
  • Address performance issues promptly and consistently.
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

Material Flow & Production Support

  • Ensure all required materials are delivered to production lines in the correct quantity and at the required time.
  • Monitor line-side inventory and respond immediately to potential material shortages.
  • Establish and maintain effective point-of-use material locations.
  • Ensure material is staged according to production requirements and standardized locations.
  • Work closely with Production Supervisors and Materials Planning to prioritize material movement.
  • Identify and eliminate unnecessary material movement, excess handling, and bottlenecks.
  • Support efforts to reduce production downtime caused by material shortages.
  • Ensure FIFO and appropriate inventory-control practices are followed.

Inventory Control

  • Maintain accurate inventory through proper transactions, material identification, and physical controls.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with the Materials team to correct root causes.
  • Support cycle-counting activities and inventory audits.
  • Prevent excess, obsolete, damaged, or misplaced material from accumulating in warehouse and line-side locations.
  • Ensure returned, rejected, and excess materials are properly identified and dispositioned.

Safety & Housekeeping

  • Maintain a safe warehouse and material-handling environment.
  • Enforce all Nortek safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Ensure forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment are operated safely.
  • Conduct routine safety observations and immediately address unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain strong 5S standards throughout warehouse and line-side areas.
  • Ensure aisles, emergency exits, fire equipment, and designated walkways remain clear.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and improve key warehouse performance indicators.
  • Monitor material shortages, line disruptions, inventory accuracy, productivity, and housekeeping.
  • Identify recurring problems and lead or participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Implement standardized work and visual management throughout the warehouse and line-side areas.
  • Look for opportunities to improve labor utilization, material flow, space utilization, and overall efficiency.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives.

The Warehouse Supervisor will be accountable for improving and maintaining:

  • Production downtime caused by material shortages
  • On-time material delivery to production

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse/inventory management systems preferred.

Leadership Expectations

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who spends significant time on the warehouse floor and at the production line. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
