Expression of Interest - Community Hub Administration Officer – Healthy Communities
Part-Time: 27.5 Hours per week
Fixed-Term until 24 December 2026.
Grade 1 (HS1) $33.626 an hour
We’re inviting internal Expressions of Interest for a Community Hub Administration Officer to join our Healthy Communities team.
This role is a lovely mix of administration, community connection and practical support. You’ll help keep the day-to-day activities of the Community Hub running smoothly, supporting everything from room bookings and community activities through to food relief, gym memberships, students and volunteers.
About the role
Working alongside the Healthy Communities team, you’ll provide practical and administrative support across Community Hub programs and activities.
Some of the things you’ll be involved in include:
- Coordinating room bookings, calendars and activity schedules.
- Supporting food relief activities, including deliveries, packing and distribution.
- Helping with Hub activities, cooking sessions, setup, pack-down and keeping shared spaces organised.
- Supporting gym membership administration and payments.
- Maintaining attendance records, databases, spreadsheets and routine program information.
- Assisting with student and volunteer administration, documentation and scheduling.
- Communicating with community partners and helping coordinate meetings and activities.
- Keeping an eye on stock, supplies and resources and helping make sure the Hub has what it needs.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is organised, approachable and happy to get involved in both the administrative and practical sides of the role.
You’ll be someone who:
- Is comfortable with general administration, bookings and data entry.
- Has good attention to detail and can keep information accurate and confidential.
- Communicates warmly and respectfully with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Can use Microsoft Word, Outlook and Teams, and is comfortable working with Excel.
- Is able to organise their work, follow established processes and ask for guidance when needed.
- Enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to a busy community environment.
Experience in a community, health or not-for-profit setting would be great, but isn’t essential. A Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent training is also desirable.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who genuinely connects with NRCH’s commitment to health equity, relationships and working alongside our community.
Closing Date: Tuesday 13 October 2026.
