The posting

At North Richmond Community Health (NRCH) we are proud to deliver courageous health and community services that collaboratively address health inequity. We nurture a workforce that is passionate and diverse, with shared values and a strong commitment to making positive health impacts within the heart of North Richmond. With access to a variety of flexible work arrangements, health and wellbeing activities and a rich learning environment, our team members are consistently able to deepen their expertise by being part of impactful and world recognised community health solutions.

Part time | 0.6 FTE | Up to 2 months cover | Flexible days North Richmond, Melbourne

We have a great short-term opportunity for a Podiatrist to join our Ageing Well Service and help us maintain continuity of care for our community while one of our team members is on leave.

If you are an experienced Podiatrist looking for a part-time role, a short-term change of pace, or an opportunity to work within community health, we would love to hear from you.

  • Part time, approximately 0.6 FTE
  • Short-term fixed-term opportunity
  • Supportive multidisciplinary Allied Health environment

About the role

Working within our Ageing Well Service, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based podiatry care to clients experiencing a range of foot and lower limb conditions.

You will undertake assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and ongoing care, while working alongside Allied Health clinicians, medical and community services and other health professionals across the City of Yarra.

Your work will include:

  • Providing high-quality podiatry assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
  • Developing collaborative treatment plans and Goal Directed Care Plans.
  • Working across disciplines to support holistic, person-centred care.
  • Building strong relationships and referral pathways with internal and external health professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Contributing to the ongoing quality and development of our podiatry service.

Depending on the timing of the placement, there may be a period where you work as the sole Podiatrist within the service, so we are looking for someone who feels comfortable working with a good degree of autonomy.

About you

You are an experienced and thoughtful Podiatrist who can step into a busy community health environment and quickly build rapport with clients and colleagues.

You will bring:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Podiatry and current AHPRA registration.
  • At least two years' experience in community-based podiatry within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong clinical judgement, assessment and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to confidently manage your workload and priorities.
  • A warm, clear and respectful approach to working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Current CPR training, or willingness to undertake it.
  • A current NDIS Screening Check and Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain these.

Experience with CHSP, community health funding streams, goal-directed care planning or TrakCare would be welcomed but is not essential.

Why join us?

At NRCH, you will be part of a community health service with a long history of providing inclusive and accessible healthcare to people experiencing health and social inequity.

You will enjoy:

  • A supportive, values-driven culture that embraces diversity and inclusion.
  • Generous salary packaging options.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • Free on-site car parking.
  • The opportunity to work within a connected multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful contribution to continuity of care in our community.

We know short-term availability can look different for everyone. If the opportunity interests you but your availability does not line up perfectly with the above, we still encourage you to get in touch.

Closing Date: 27 September 2026

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
