The posting

Onze partner Elia is de netbeheerder van het Belgische hoogspanningsnet en verantwoordelijk voor infrastructuurprojecten voor de ontwikkeling, uitbreiding en vernieuwing van het Belgische elektriciteitstransmissienet tussen 30 en 380 kV. Als Junior Ontwerper speel je binnen een team van 15-tal collega's een cruciale rol in het ontwerp en de realisatie van diverse elektrische installaties en systemen.

Het traineeship duurt 4 maanden. De volgende sessie van het traineeship start in oktober 2026.

Tijdens dit traject maak je kennis met de belangrijkste onderdelen van een hoogspanningspost en leer je werken met onze designtools. Via theoretische opleidingen, praktijkgerichte ontwerpoefeningen en realistische projectcases bouw je stap voor stap de nodige expertise op. Werf- en sitebezoeken geven je daarnaast inzicht in de praktische uitvoering van je ontwerpen. De opleiding wordt in het Nederlands gegeven en bereidt je voor op je eerste zelfstandige projecten als Technical Designer Substations.

Het compleet takenpakket ziet er als volgt uit:

  • Assisteren bij de haalbaarheidsstudie en voorstudie in samenwerking met de Project Engineer.
  • Uitvoeren van designstudies en opleveren van alle documenten en plannen die nodig zijn voor de goede uitvoering van het project.
  • Samenwerken met externe studiebureaus voor specifieke projecten en waarborgen van de opvolging en kwaliteit van de geleverde studies via controles
  • Opstellen van vergunningsplannen (plannen nodig voor de vergunningsaanvragen), uitvoeringsplannen (opmaak van inplantingsplannen, uitrustingsplannen en plannen van staalstructuren) en bijhorende documenten (plannenlijst, klemmenlijst, staalbouwlijst)
  • Waarborgen van de kwaliteit van de studie door gebruik te maken van goedgekeurde apparatuur, conform de normen, standaarden en methodologieën van Elia.
  • Opstellen van een persoonlijke studieplanning op basis van de planning van de teamverantwoordelijke en rapporteren aan de team- en projectverantwoordelijke.
  • Samenwerken binnen een projectteam, in nauwe samenwerking met de Project Leader, Project Engineer en collega-designers, met een sterk ondersteunende rol.
  • Bieden van ondersteuning aan de Project Leader en Project Engineer tijdens de uitvoeringswerken (ad hoc) met betrekking tot de opgeleverde studie.
  • Op termijn, en op basis van expertise en ervaring, uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles op studies van collega-designers, opleiden en begeleiden van nieuwe collega's, en deelnemen aan werkgroepen voor procesverbeteringen.

Na de opleidingsperiode zal je 2 à 3dagen per week van thuis uit kunnen werken. Het werk kan dus optimaal worden georganiseerd tussen de werfplaatsen (die in voorbereidings- en bouwfase moeten bezocht worden), het kantoor (in Brussel) en de woning.

  • Je bent recent afgestudeerd of zal weldra afstuderen als Bachelor of Graduaat in elektrotechniek, elektromechanica, energietechnologie, elektriciteit of gelijkaardig
  • Je bent sterk geïnteresseerd in ontwerpen en hebt kennis van CAD-software, bij voorkeur AutoCAD.
  • Je hebt oog voor detail, werkt nauwkeurig en beschikt over sterke plannings- en organisatievaardigheden.
  • Je bent gemotiveerd om je verder te ontwikkelen en je te specialiseren in je vakgebied.
  • Je bent perfect Nederlandstalig.
