As a Material Handler, you will ensure timely and accurate movement of materials within the facility. Your responsibilities will include packaging, shipping, and receiving and distributing materials. Moving materials to and from storage areas using forklifts or other equipment Loading and unloading materials from trucks and other vehicles Verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments Packaging and labeling of produced goods Maintaining inventory records and performing regular cycle counts Inventory accuracy Inventory Turnover Other - Be able to operate material handling equipment such as hand-trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks. Competency - Be able to work in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines. Competency - Be detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records Other - Be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary Other - Be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Action Oriented - Enjoys working hard; is action oriented and full of energy for the things that he/she sees as challenging; not fearful of acting with a minimum of planning; seizes opportunities when they arise.
