NOVO's wide range of service programs offer a variety of options to provide a seamless, single source distribution system. NOVO's regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking dedicated Dryfold workers to join our team in our fast-paced healthcare laundry facility. We are looking for someone who is confident in decision making, can act quickly, and has excellent communication skills. If you are ready to make a commitment to measurable performance and continuous improvements, then we want to hear from you!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Feeding clean items into machines that fold or iron
  • Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen
  • Sort soiled linens or recently washed linens
  • Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift
  • Keep workstation neat and clean
  • Work around industrial machinery, in varying temperatures and conditions (dust, humidity, noise, etc.)
  • Meet production standards and KPIs

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Ability to work in a noisy fast paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stack individual items from machine for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to push or pull a cart that may weigh 100 pounds.

Preferred

  • High School Education, GED and formal education / training preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Physical and mental ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay starts at $16.25 an hour
