The posting

Your impact begins here

As ESG Reporting Advisor, you will help prepare Novo’s ESG reporting, including the Sustainability statement in the Annual Report, and make sure the data behind it is accurate, transparent and trusted. Investors, regulators, employees and other external stakeholders rely on this reporting to understand Novo’s sustainability commitments and progress. You will be responsible for selected metrics, EU Taxonomy reporting and to improve our data collection and controlling processes.

What you’ll bring

The ESG space is changing fast. You will do well here if you:

  • Thrive in a high-pace environment where things are anything but at steady state.
  • Enjoy working in a large organisation with many stakeholders and handling many different tasks at once.
  • Bring a pragmatic, can-do attitude.
  • Communicate clearly and interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

Useful, but not essential: one or several of the following

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree related to ESG topics, business or auditing.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in sustainability, ESG reporting or as an ESG consultant.
  • Knowledge of ESG reporting methodologies and frameworks, such as CSRD, EU Taxonomy and the GHG Protocol.
  • Experience with ESG assurance and internal controls.

What you’ll do

You will help deliver high-quality ESG reporting and strengthen how it is produced. Your work will include:

  • Preparing Novo’s ESG reporting, including the Sustainability statement in the Annual Report.
  • Taking responsibility for selected metrics (climate, pollution, nature, circularity, own workforce, business conduct or equitable access) and making sure they are reported accurately and transparently.
  • Working closely with stakeholders across the business on data collection and carrying out controls and checks on key ESG metrics.
  • Owning our EU Taxonomy reporting.
  • Improving data collection and consolidation processes and strengthening the internal ESG control environment.
  • Driving continuous improvement of existing processes with AI and other digital tools.

Who you’ll work with

You will be part of ESG Reporting at our headquarters in Bagsværd, outside Copenhagen. The ESG Reporting team has 8 colleagues across Denmark and India. ESG Reporting sits within Finance under the CFO, as part of Corporate Accounting, led by Rikke Ryttergaard Andersen. Corporate Accounting has approximately 40 colleagues with a great mix of age, gender and nationality.

What you can expect here

You will work on a topic that is moving quickly, with room to contribute your expertise and shape how ESG reporting is done. You will build new skills by working across the business and by using AI and digital tools in your daily work. You will be supported to perform at your best, trusted to take ownership and encouraged to speak up when things are stalling.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.
