The posting

Enterprise IT & Quality

Ballerup, Denmark

Your impact begins here

Cyber resilience is becoming one of the most important capabilities for organisations operating in an increasingly connected world. As Programme Director, Cyber Resilience, you will lead a critical enterprise-wide programme that helps strengthen resilience across Novo Nordisk while supporting safe and efficient business operations.

Working on behalf of the Deputy CISO, you will provide leadership across a network of senior stakeholders, workstream leads and subject matter experts. This is a role where success comes through influence, governance and the ability to create alignment across organisational boundaries rather than through direct line management. You will help translate strategic ambitions into coordinated action, ensuring the programme delivers meaningful business outcomes while remaining connected to enterprise priorities.

What you'll bring

You are an experienced enterprise programme leader who thrives in complex environments and knows how to mobilise leaders around a shared vision. You bring the confidence to challenge constructively, navigate competing priorities and create momentum across large, matrixed organisations.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A master's degree or equivalent professional experience within programme management, technology, cyber security, business, engineering or a related field.
  • Significant experience leading complex enterprise-wide programmes, transformations, PMO initiatives or technology-focused programmes.
  • Strong expertise in programme governance, integrated planning, risk management, dependency management, portfolio reporting and resource planning.
  • Experience creating alignment across senior leaders, programme leads, technical experts and business stakeholders in large organisations.
  • The ability to lead through influence, stakeholder engagement and governance forums rather than formal people management authority.
  • Strong understanding of cyber resilience, operational risk or technology risk, combined with excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills and fluency in English.

What you'll do

As Programme Director, Cyber Resilience, you will create the structure, governance and leadership needed to drive a strategic programme across multiple functions and business areas.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the end-to-end Cyber Resilience Programme, including scope, roadmap, milestones, resources, benefits, dependencies and delivery outcomes.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective programme governance, reporting structures and decision-making forums that support transparency and accountability.
  • Aligning cyber security priorities with Line of Business needs, balancing risk management requirements with practical business realities.
  • Providing direction and coordination across multiple workstream leaders, ensuring integrated planning and clear ownership of deliverables
  • Managing programme risks, interdependencies and escalations while supporting timely decision-making across stakeholder groups.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by translating complex cyber resilience topics into clear choices, actions, progress updates and business implications.

Who you'll work with

You will join the Enterprise IT & Quality organisation and work closely with the Information Security organisation while partnering with stakeholders across the value chain. The programme sits at the intersection of cyber risk, technology and business operations, creating broad exposure across the enterprise.

This role requires strong leadership in a highly matrixed environment. You will collaborate with senior business leaders, programme leads, cyber security specialists and technology teams across multiple functions and geographies. Success will depend on your ability to build trusted relationships, create alignment between diverse perspectives and drive progress through partnership and influence rather than direct line management.

What you can expect here

This is an opportunity to shape a strategically important programme at enterprise scale while working alongside colleagues who are passionate about creating lasting impact. You will have the chance to influence senior decision-making, strengthen resilience across the organisation and contribute to solutions that support the future of the business. At Novo Nordisk, you will join an environment that encourages learning, collaboration and continuous development, helping you grow while making a meaningful contribution.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 940,800 to 1,448,700 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
