The posting

Your impact begins here

As Senior Project Manager in Procurement Excellence in Corporate Procurement, you will lead and deliver highly complex projects related to global technology implementations, AI initiatives and more. You will be the trusted partner to our Line of Business, bringing stakeholders on all levels, data and ideas together to keep projects on track and make sure the value is realised. Your work helps Corporate Procurement respond to complex, cross-regional needs with clarity and pace, so Novo can move closer to its purpose of driving change for lasting health.

What you’ll bring

You are an experienced project leader who is comfortable in senior discussions, structures complexity quickly and brings others with you. You will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with consulting toolbox, frameworks and approaches and with working with stakeholders on all levels.
  • Experience in large, global technology implementation projects where you have brought the solutions end-to-end to your business stakeholders.
  • Direct or indirect people management experience, with demonstrated ability to lead a team or project team.
  • Strong project management skills, including managing multiple complex projects, prioritising resources and managing risks and issues at a strategic level.
  • The ability to bring data from multiple sources together into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including with executive leadership and global audiences, and the discretion to handle sensitive information.
  • An international mindset and the ability to drive change in a global environment.

Useful, but not essential:

  • Experience working with or implementing Coupa and Rossum.
  • Procurement experience.

What you’ll do

You will lead projects across Procurement Excellence from first plan to realised value, while keeping stakeholders aligned along the way.

  • Plan and execute highly complex technology implementation projects, AI initiatives and similar for Procurement Excellence, coordinating activities, managing resources and tracking progress to deliver on time and on objectives.
  • Anchor project outcomes and make sure the value is realised, with clear responsibilities for everyone involved.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders, and act as the primary point of contact for the complex and cross-regional needs of business units.
  • Lead the alignment of business unit needs and concerns with global strategy.
  • Oversee the analysis of complex project data and trends, and drive problem solving that turns insight into better project decisions and new ways of working.
  • Communicate project status, developments and key insights to executive leadership, and manage stakeholder expectations so objectives stay aligned.
  • Mentor and develop less experienced colleagues, and act as a sparring partner to other projects.

Who you’ll work with

You will be part of the Transformation Delivery Office within Procurement Excellence in Corporate Procurement.

Your closest partners will be colleagues in IT, Global Business Services (GBS) and Corporate Procurement, as well as business units and other areas across Novo, depending on the project. You will not only work with stakeholders from a variety of functions and locations but also of different levels, ranging from senior management presentations to getting stakeholders and future users of the solutions on board.

You will work across regions and functions, bringing different perspectives together, creating clarity on priorities and helping teams move quickly from plan to delivery.

You will report to Associate Director of the Transformation Delivery Office.

What you can expect here

You will be trusted to take ownership of complex projects and to make your voice heard. You will be supported to perform at your best, grow your skills through hands-on experience across Novo’s value chain and relevant learning offerings, and develop others by mentoring less experienced colleagues.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
