The posting

Your impact begins here - h****elp ensure that our products reach patients and customers with their quality protected throughout transportation.

Are you an experienced validation professional who enjoys solving complex challenges at the intersection of product quality, compliance and logistics? Join us as our new Senior Validation Professional in a role with strong international scope, where you will collaborate across technical, quality, logistics and regulatory functions to shape robust solutions and take on increasing responsibility.

This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise across transport validation and transport control, gain broad exposure to global stakeholders, and influence an area of growing strategic importance and responsibility. If you are ready to make an impact in global transport validation, we encourage you to apply.

What you’ll do

As Senior Validation Professional, you will combine hands-on validation work with close cross-functional collaboration to solve complex transport challenges, improve established processes and help ensure the reliable distribution of our products.

You will independently plan and execute complex transport qualification and validation activities for transport lanes, equipment and products, translating applicable Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements and business needs into practical, documented solutions within established procedures and governance. As a senior subject-matter expert, you will support cross-functional stakeholders, contribute to improvements and act as a sparring partner for validation colleagues.

Your key responsibilities

  • Execute transport qualification and validation. Define and carry out activities for lanes, equipment and products, and author and review protocols, risk assessments, risk reports and validation plans.
  • Strengthen transport compliance and control. Support compliant end-to-end distribution processes, contribute to the assessment and mitigation of transport risks, and review new or updated Product Specific Requirements.
  • Support submissions, audits and inspections. Provide transport validation input to Regulatory Affairs and prepare, explain and present validation documentation when required.
  • Contribute to projects and improvements. Bring transport validation expertise to cross-functional supply chain initiatives and execute agreed improvements and validation strategy initiatives.
  • Maintain the validated state. Author and review SOPs, perform and review activities to maintain the validated state, and provide technical input to deviations and change requests.

What you’ll bring

We imagine that you have a relevant degree in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, life sciences or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. You also bring:

  • Solid experience with qualification or validation in a regulated pharmaceutical environment, ideally including transport validation, distribution or cold-chain logistics.
  • A strong understanding of GDP and the ability to apply relevant health authority requirements to transport activities.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing validation documentation and risk assessments.
  • The confidence to independently handle complex activities, make well-supported technical judgements and communicate recommendations clearly.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to turn technical requirements into practical guidance for colleagues.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Experience supporting regulatory submissions and presenting in audits or inspections would be an advantage.

We are looking for an experienced professional who thrives in a complex, global environment and knows how to create alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. You communicate clearly and confidently influence decisions, create alignment and drive practical solutions when priorities and requirements differ.

You take a structured, risk-based approach, keeping product quality and patient safety at the centre of your decisions. You balance compliance with operational needs, follow activities through to completion and recognise when escalation is needed. You also enjoy sharing your knowledge, constructively challenging assumptions and helping colleagues move forward.

Who you’ll work with

Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) is responsible for manufacturing and supplying Novo’s products to patients worldwide. We combine operational excellence, innovation, and a strong quality mindset to ensure reliable delivery of medicines while continuously improving our processes and expanding our global manufacturing network.

You will join Global Compliance and Transport Control (GC&TC), part of Global Logistics and Distribution. We help ensure a compliant and resilient global supply chain and keep the organisation ready for inspections. Through transport validation and compliance activities, we support product submissions and the addition of new production facilities and warehouses to our logistics network, enabling business growth.

What you can expect here

At Novo, you can expect a role where your scientific judgement matters, your ideas are listened to, and your work helps move complex development projects forward. You will have opportunities to deepen your expertise, build cross-functional influence and grow in a collaborative environment where initiative is encouraged. You will be supported to perform at your best and trusted to take ownership, while contributing to work that helps create progress for people living with serious chronic diseases.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
