The posting

Are you our next Platform & Modelling Owner, ready to shape how Urban Partners models investments and ensure our platform delivers what the business needs?

About the role

As Platform & Modelling Owner, you will serve as the owner and subject matter expert for Urban Partners’ investment modelling framework. You will set and defend modelling methodology standards, govern platform configuration, and own the relationship between the firm’s requirements and the platform’s capabilities. When the two diverge, you will make the gap visible and drive the execution needed.

Joining the Investment Performance team in the CIO Office, you will play an important role in advancing the methodologies, platforms and analytics that underpin investment performance across Urban Partners. The role reports to the Investment Performance Director. You will work closely with the Performance Analytics Lead and Business Partners, while acting as Urban Partners’ single route to the platform vendor. This is a governance and ownership role, not a quarterly model-preparation role; its greatest value is created through protected development weeks, continuous improvement, and clear methodology ownership.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the owner of our firm-wide real estate modelling methodology, ensuring consistency and quality across investment activities.
  • Drive governance of the modelling platform, including configuration management, change control processes, and the prioritization of business requirements and enhancements.
  • Lead the assessment and implementation of vendor releases through rigorous testing, translating technical updates into clear business impacts for stakeholders across the platform.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the platform vendor, managing the relationship, influencing the product roadmap, and ensuring issues and improvements are addressed effectively.
  • Own and maintain a single, prioritized product backlog, balancing business needs, platform capabilities, and strategic objectives.
  • Oversee user administration, licenses, permissions, onboarding, and training, ensuring colleagues are equipped to make the most of the platform.
  • Foster alignment between investment-level and fund-level modelling approaches, supporting consistency in investment decision-making across the business.

Your experience & skills

In this role, you hold a relevant Master's degree and bring 3-6 years of experience from a real estate company, pension fund, investment manager, private equity firm, or a similar environment.

We expect you to bring:

  • Strong real estate modelling expertise gained in investment, transactions, valuations, asset management, underwriting, or a similar analytical environment.
  • Deep understanding of real estate investment and underwriting methodologies.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology by translating complex requirements into clear platform specifications and practical solutions.
  • Experience working with specialist systems, models, or platforms, with a structured approach to documentation, governance, and change management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to assess change impacts and identify risks before they arise.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Professional proficiency in Danish, with the ability to understand and engage in day-to-day business discussions, is required. Additional Nordic language skills are considered an advantage.

Your character

  • Detail-oriented and proactive, you enjoy improving processes, driving adoption, and strengthening the quality of investment insights.
  • Confident and credible, you hold suppliers and stakeholders accountable, challenge commitments when needed, and make sound decisions based on agreed standards and acceptance criteria.
  • A strong communicator, you translate complex modelling concepts, platform changes, and methodology decisions into clear messages for both technical and business audiences.
  • Collaborative and curious, you value stakeholder input, build trust through sound judgement, and actively explore how AI and emerging technologies can enhance efficiency, insights, and decision-making.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
