With more than 3,000 lawyers and 3,000 business services professionals working together across 50 offices worldwide, this global law firm provides a full range of legal services to leading corporations and financial institutions operating in key markets and sectors.

Join our Client Payments team as a Coordinator, Client Payments, where you’ll play an important role in processing client receipts and delivering responsive, high-quality service to lawyers and colleagues across the firm.

We’re looking for a proactive, service-minded professional who communicates effectively, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll partner regularly with lawyers, staff, and our Global Service Center (GSC) to help ensure client payment activity is handled accurately and efficiently.

This role reports to the Supervisor, Client Payments and offers regular remote-work flexibility, with in-office attendance required as business, client, team, or operational needs arise.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Record daily revenue payments received.
  • Research and assist in identifying client receipts that could not be identified by the Global Service Center (GSC), escalating unresolved items as appropriate.
  • Post client receipts in SAP once identified.
  • Address accounts receivable concerns and questions via e-mail and phone call within a timely manner.
  • Prepare and provide ad-hoc reports and payment information in response to requests.
  • Balance batch reports to bank credits.
  • Work closely with accounts payable team members as it relates to Trusts and Intercompany transfers.
  • For Trust accounts, open sub-accounts and maintain balances and record interest-bearing escrow accounts monthly.
  • Perform general administrative duties.

Please note this job description does not cover or contain all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the colleague for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Qualifications and experience:

  • At least three years of experience in a professional environment, preferably within a law firm.
  • Preferred experience with a legal industry standard financial systems database.
  • Flexibility to work independently and in a team atmosphere with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Customer service oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to interact well with people at all levels of the organization internally and externally by phone, email and in person.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong team player a must.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment while working within established procedures, controls, and escalation guidelines.
  • Detail oriented, with above average spelling, language and grammar skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong data entry skills.
  • Must be flexible to work extra hours as dictated by the demands of the role.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
