The remit will focus primarily on indirect categories outside of core AI Infrastructure and Data Center equipment procurement.

  • Support procurement across IT & software, professional services, marketing, HR/recruitment, travel, facilities and other corporate services.
  • Co-create and execute category strategies aligned with business requirements and growth plans.
  • Lead competitive RFP/RFQ processes, supplier selection and commercial negotiations.

  • Monitor supplier performance, pricing, contractual commitments and service levels.
  • Partner with Legal and business owners on contract negotiations, renewals and commercial risk.
  • Maintain visibility of key contract dates and proactively manage renewals.

Procurement Governance & Operations

  • Drive adoption of appropriate purchase requisition, PO and approval processes.
  • Support procurement policies, controls and delegated authority requirements.
  • Improve spend visibility, procurement reporting and supplier data.
  • Support development and optimisation of procurement systems and workflows.
  • Maintain appropriate procurement audit trails and support the wider financial control environment.

Key Categories

  • Corporate Services: Facilities, workplace, insurance and other indirect spend

Core GPU/AI infrastructure and Data Center construction/equipment procurement would sit outside the role’s primary remit, with collaboration across those procurement teams as required.

About You

  • Significant procurement experience, ideally within a technology, cloud, infrastructure or high-growth international business.
  • Strong experience across multiple indirect procurement categories.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, competitive tenders and complex commercial negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of supplier economics, contracts and total cost of ownership.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Ability to challenge senior stakeholders while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Experience with procurement/P2P platforms such as SAP Ariba or equivalent advantageous.
  • Comfortable operating in a rapidly scaling international organisation.

Measures of Success

  • Sustainable procurement savings and cost avoidance.
  • Increased spend under Procurement management.
  • Improved contract and supplier visibility.
  • Greater use of competitive sourcing.
  • Reduced supplier fragmentation and unnecessary spend.
  • Improved PO and procurement-policy compliance.
  • Strong commercial support to business leaders.

Overall focus: Build a commercially focused indirect procurement capability that enables Nscale to scale efficiently, strengthens control over third-party spend and delivers measurable value across the organization.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
