Your day at NTT DATA NTT DATA is looking for a Senior Public Cloud Enterprise Architect to play a key role in a strategic Hybrid Multi-Cloud client engagement.

Our client already operates a substantial Public Cloud estate across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. This role is not about introducing cloud from scratch or selecting a hyperscaler. It is about helping the client evolve, standardise and operate its Public Cloud platforms within a complex enterprise and Hybrid Multi-Cloud environment.

You will work closely with the client’s Cloud Center of Excellence, Cloud Architects and Enterprise Architects, alongside NTT DATA engineering, security, networking, transformation and service-delivery teams.

The client retains authority over enterprise architecture, cloud governance, workload placement, security policy, IAM approval and key technology decisions. Your role is to bring deep Public Cloud expertise, develop recommendations and design patterns, challenge solutions constructively, and translate client-approved architectural direction into implementable designs and operational capabilities.

You will be an active member of the delivery organisation, supporting both transformation and the ongoing evolution of Public Cloud services.

This is a highly client-facing role. You will work directly with client stakeholders in day-to-day architecture and delivery discussions and represent NTT DATA at senior technical level.

This role requires availability to work on-site in Eindhoven three days per week.

What you will do

• Act as NTT DATA’s senior strategic and technical advisor for Public Cloud.

• Build trusted relationships with the client’s Cloud Center of Excellence, Cloud Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Security and engineering teams.

• Translate client architecture principles and standards into practical Public Cloud platform and solution designs.

• Provide architectural leadership across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.

• Review, challenge and improve Public Cloud solution designs, landing-zone patterns and platform services.

• Support enterprise-scale landing-zone architecture, lifecycle management and continuous improvement.

• Guide cloud networking and connectivity patterns, including Azure ExpressRoute, Google Cloud Interconnect and integration with the wider Hybrid Multi-Cloud environment.

• Guide integration with client IAM, PAM/PIM, security, logging, monitoring and compliance controls.

• Support secure, scalable and repeatable Infrastructure-as-Code and automation patterns using Terraform and related tooling.

• Support the evolution of reusable cloud-service patterns, APIs and self-service capabilities through the Hybrid Multi-Cloud Internal Developer Portal.

• Work with client and NTT DATA teams on production-readiness reviews, workload onboarding, health checks and architecture assurance.

• Provide architectural input into resilience, backup, recovery and business-continuity designs.

• Support Public Cloud cost and consumption optimisation within the client’s retained FinOps governance and Flexera operating model.

• Identify architectural risks, technical debt, lifecycle issues, dependencies and opportunities for standardisation or modernisation.

• Support Public Cloud migration and transformation initiatives, including integration with the Hybrid Multi-Cloud migration factory.

• Support the Azure China workstream where required, including landing-zone architecture, connectivity, security, recovery and operational-readiness considerations.

• Ensure proposed solutions integrate effectively with the client’s Private Cloud and Data Center environments rather than creating isolated cloud silos.

• Work within the client’s ServiceNow, CMDB/CSDM and governance model and ensure architecture can be translated into operable services.

• Support architecture documentation, high-level and low-level design reviews, and architecture decision records where required.

• Bring forward emerging Public Cloud capabilities and recommend where they can deliver measurable client value without creating unnecessary lock-in or complexity.

• Identity federation, PIM/PAM and role-based access.

• Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code.

• GitHub and Azure DevOps integration.

• Cloud automation and API-driven provisioning.

• Kubernetes and cloud-native platform services.

• Monitoring, logging and observability.

• LogicMonitor and cloud-native monitoring integration.

• ServiceNow and CMDB/CSDM integration.

• Flexera and cloud cost-management capabilities.

• Backup, resilience and disaster recovery.

• Security posture management and policy compliance.

• Hybrid and Multi-Cloud architecture.

We are not looking for someone who simply knows how to deploy Azure or Google Cloud services. We need someone who understands how Public Cloud should operate inside a highly governed, security-sensitive, global enterprise, and how cloud architecture becomes a repeatable, supportable managed service.

What we are looking for

Ideally, you bring:

• Significant experience as a Public Cloud Architect, Enterprise Architect, Principal Architect or equivalent senior technical leader.

• Deep enterprise-scale experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform and multi-cloud operating environments.

• Experience designing and evolving enterprise landing zones and cloud foundations.

• Strong understanding of cloud networking, hybrid connectivity and enterprise network integration.

• Strong understanding of IAM, privileged access, cloud security and governance.

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly Terraform, and modern automation practices.

• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, containers and Kubernetes.

• Experience designing resilient and recoverable cloud platforms and services.

• Experience operating in environments with strict security, sovereignty, data-residency and compliance requirements.

• Understanding of FinOps, cloud consumption and cost optimisation.

• Experience integrating cloud services with enterprise ITSM, CMDB, observability and operational processes.

• Strong understanding of Hybrid Multi-Cloud architecture.

• Experience working within formal enterprise architecture and design-governance processes.

• Excellent consulting and stakeholder-management skills.

• The confidence to challenge technical proposals constructively while respecting client decision rights.

It will be measured by your ability to understand the client’s direction, develop the right options, challenge complexity, translate decisions into implementable architecture, enable engineering and operations, and continuously improve the platform.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can become a trusted architectural counterpart to the client while ensuring NTT DATA can reliably deliver the Public Cloud services for which it is responsible.
