About Nuclear

Nuclear is an intelligent note-taking app built for students and self-learners who crave more from their notes. We combine AI with sleek design to turn raw text into editable, interactive study tools — including fill-in-the-blank exercises, adaptive quizzes, and instant Q&A through "Ask Nuclear."

We're a small, fast-moving team, and we're building tools that make learning personal, engaging, and efficient.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain front-end and back-end systems for the Nuclear web app.
  • Integrate AI features like Q&A, summarization, and dynamic quiz generation.
  • Collaborate with design to implement clean, responsive UIs that feel delightful and fast.
  • Optimize performance for real-time rendering and editing of large documents.
  • Write clean, testable code with good documentation and modularity.
  • Contribute ideas on feature design, UX flows, and technical strategy.

Tech Stack (You don’t need to know all of these)

  • Frontend: React, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion
  • Backend: Node.js, Express
  • Database: PostgreSQL, Prisma
  • AI Layer: Sonar APIs, LangChain, Pinecone (or similar vector DB)
  • Dev Tools: GitHub, Vercel, Docker, Tailscale
  • Bonus: Experience with browser-based text editing (Slate.js, Lexical, or ProseMirror)

What We’re Looking For

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (preferably React).
  • Experience building and deploying full-stack web applications.
  • Ability to turn product requirements into fast, maintainable code.
  • Interest in AI/LLMs and how they can reshape learning experiences.
  • A user-first mindset — you care about polish, usability, and performance.
  • Bonus: experience with education tools, Chrome extensions, or real-time apps.

Perks

  • Equity options — be part of the core team shaping Nuclear.
  • Flexible hours — async-first, minimal meetings.
  • Access to OpenAI credits and developer tools.
  • Creative freedom — your ideas are core to our product.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

The numbers game

More applications. More interviews.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
