The Role

As a Radiology Assistant at Cambridge you will;

  • Facilitate our high-quality ultrasound service ensuring a high level of patient care, respect and dignity
  • Undertake appointment bookings
  • Work closely with our Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers and Administration team
  • Be involved with clinical audit and other administrative duties relating to your role
  • Accurately input data into radiology software and patient management software to ensure correct billing of patients
  • Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion

To succeed as a Radiology Assistant at Cambridge you will have;

  • Level 2 Qualification in Healthcare
  • Experience within a work environment, preferably within a healthcare focused setting.
  • Basic IT skills
  • A caring nature – to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy
  • Willingness to undertake non-clinical tasks to ensure the safe and effective running of the Radiology department
  • Work well within a close, supportive team. Willing to go the extra mile to ensure the patient has a positive experience
  • Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
