The posting

Since our founding in 1996, Numerix has been at the vanguard of financial technology, providing quantitative analytics and software that redefine pricing and risk management across the financial markets. Through recent strategic acquisitions, Numerix has further strengthened its leadership position, empowering financial institutions worldwide to transform risk into opportunity with confidence. As AI reshapes capital markets technology, Numerix is focused on combining the speed and flexibility of AI with the deterministic, auditable, and governed calculations that financial institutions require.

As Senior Enterprise Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving enterprise-level business development and revenue growth across large organizations and strategic accounts. This role is highly consultative, centering on building relationships with C-level executives, designing solutions tailored to client needs, and owning the complex, full-cycle sales process in Hong Kong.

The role

This is a full-cycle role covering both account management and new-logo hunting in Hong Kong. The person will own renewals, upsell and cross-sell across a live installed base of banks and brokers, and will also open new institutions. It is a hybrid farmer–hunter role, not a pure renewals position.

What the book looks like:

  • Installed base: Hong Kong banks and Chinese-bank and broker subsidiaries using Numerix Oneview, NxCore and CrossAsset for valuation, trading, market risk and xVA. This includes a multi-year xVA renewal in the seven-figure (ARR) USD range.
  • Live expansion pipeline: Oneview upsells at Chinese-bank and broker accounts, an ALM upsell at a Big 4 firm, an NxCore Workspace cross-sell, and a performance-as-a-service opportunity. Typical deal sizes are about USD 100–500K.
  • New-logo targets: HK subsidiaries of Chinese securities firms, driven by structured products growth market making Private banking and wealth management. Top-10 global banks in HK, through the SFC Type 11 (OTC derivatives) campaign.

What you'll Do:

  • Territory & Account Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategy to drive annual sales and revenue targets for a defined territory by landing new name logos as well as upselling / cross selling to a set of named existing accounts in Hong Kong.
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively identify, qualify, and engage new enterprise clients through outreach, networking, and targeted initiatives and accurately maintain sales forecasts in Salesforce
  • Client Retention & Growth: Cultivate relationships with quant-focused clients, as well as C-level executives and senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to facilitate account retention, renewals and expansion. Leverage your knowledge and skill set to build and maintain credibility with clients, identify gaps, and recommend solutions; and deliver revenue-generating and adoption/usage goals
  • Market Insight: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving client needs to adapt sales approaches and maximize value

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years of enterprise software or data sales into HK capital markets, sell-side and/or private banking.
  • A track record of closing six-figure USD ARR deals with long, multi-stakeholder cycles (front office, risk, finance, IT, procurement).
  • Existing relationships at Chinese banks and brokers in HK (e.g., BOC/BOCI, CICC, GTJA, CITIC Securities International, China Merchants Securities).
  • Fluent Mandarin and Cantonese, plus business English.
  • Experience protecting and growing renewals, including handling right-sizing and licence-reduction conversations.
  • HK-based, with the right to work in HK.

Strongly preferred

  • Has sold pricing, risk or valuation analytics: derivatives, structured products, xVA, IPV, market risk, ALM.
  • Experience at a comparable vendor, for example Bloomberg, LSEG/Refinitiv, Murex, FIS, ICE, S&P, MSCI, Calypso/Adenza, Finastra, or Moody's Analytics.
  • Familiar with HK regulatory drivers such as SFC Type 11, SIMM/UMR, FRTB and HKMA requirements.
  • Comfortable with consultative, pain-led selling (Venator/MEDDPICC-style qualification) and with Salesforce discipline.

Where You’ll Work:

This role will be based out of the Hong Kong Office - address below. This role will require you to travel up to 30% of the time. Numerix (Hong Kong) Limited, 46/F, Lee Garden One, 33 Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong SAR China

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
