Who We Are

Nuro believes self-driving vehicles are the most immediate and profound opportunity for AI to drive positive change in the physical world. Safer streets, more time for what matters, and easier access to the world around us, that’s why we’re building a universal autonomy platform: self-driving for all roads and all rides.

Founded in 2016, Nuro is a physical AI company developing Level 4 autonomous driving technology for a wide range of vehicles, use cases, and markets. Powered by the Nuro Driver™, our universal autonomy platform enables the global mobility ecosystem to deploy autonomy at scale, from robotaxis and logistics fleets to personal vehicles.

With years of real-world deployment experience and a flexible, partner-led business model, Nuro is working toward a future where millions of autonomous vehicles powered by our technology help make everyday life safer, easier, and more connected.

Nuro has raised over $2B in capital from Uber, NVIDIA, Google, Softbank, Fidelity, T. Rowe Price, and other leading investors.

About the Role

Nuro is seeking a creative, curious, and digitally fluent Social Media Intern to help grow our presence across social platforms. This is a hands-on content role for someone with strong creative taste, good design instincts, and the analytical ability to make complex ideas clear, relevant, and engaging.

You’ll help create and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X, and other relevant platforms. You’ll also support community management, social listening, executive social, creator outreach, and performance reporting.

The ideal candidate understands internet culture, can translate technical concepts into accessible stories, and knows how to apply brand guidelines with minimal oversight. You should be comfortable experimenting with new formats while exercising sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and a clear point of view.

This role reports to Nuro’s Director of Brand & Marketing and works closely with the Head of Content, Head of Communications, and Brand Videographer.

This is a full-time, three-month internship with the potential to extend based on performance and business needs.

About the Work

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Create and Publish Social Content

  • Develop and publish social-first content that brings Nuro’s mission, technology, products, and people to life.
  • Translate technical concepts, research, and company news into clear, engaging social content.
  • Turn blog posts, announcements, and longer-form stories into short-form video, carousels, graphics, and other platform-native formats.
  • Write copy and captions tailored to different audiences and channels.
  • Develop timely content inspired by relevant trends, cultural moments, and online conversations.
  • Create content that reflects strong visual judgment and follows Nuro’s brand guidelines with minimal oversight.
  • Identify compelling stories, company moments, and subject-matter experts to feature across Nuro’s social channels.
  • Support content development for Nuro’s co-founders and co-CEOs, adapting content to their voices, perspectives, and audiences.
  • Contribute ideas for recurring content series and new storytelling formats.

Support Community Management and Social Listening

  • Monitor comments, mentions, conversations, and relevant topics across Nuro’s social channels.
  • Respond to community questions and comments in a timely, thoughtful, and on-brand manner.
  • Surface relevant trends, news, conversations, and opportunities to Brand & Marketing, Communications, Policy & Legal, and Operations.
  • Track audience feedback and use insights to inform future content and communications.
  • Help maintain a consistent, accurate, and authentic voice across Nuro’s social presence.
  • Support social listening for Nuro, its partners, and relevant industry topics.

Measure and Improve Performance

  • Review social performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve content, distribution, and engagement.
  • Help evaluate performance across platforms, audiences, and content formats.
  • Maintain organized social reporting and documentation.
  • Use performance insights to inform creative and editorial decisions.

Support Creator Engagement and Social Operations

  • Research relevant creators, influencers, publishers, and online communities.
  • Support outreach, relationship-building, and follow-up for creator opportunities.
  • Assist with influencer campaigns and content collaborations as needed.
  • Help organize content calendars, social assets, copy, approvals, and publishing schedules.
  • Help manage day-to-day scheduling, publishing, tagging, and content maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information, coordinate reviews, and develop content.
  • Ensure content is accurate, accessible, timely, visually cohesive, and aligned with Nuro’s brand and communications guidelines.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
