You are a strong copy editor/writer with experience defining and realizing a content strategy across a sizable product portfolio. You possess a “makers” mentality and are equally comfortable “pitching in” as an individual contributor as you are at developing strategy and pitching to stakeholders.

The Content Strategy role at Nutanix is a terrific opportunity to define and build a mission-critical function within a successful, growing, market-leading company. The UX Writer/Content Designer role is a critical component of the Nutanix strategy to leverage design to revolutionize the cloud infrastructure experience. "Design" and "Customer delight" are embedded in every step of our product cycle. Nutanix has a design-first philosophy that combines consumer-grade design with web-scale engineering to create an amazing user experience.

We’re looking for a UX Content Designer to shape intuitive, consistent, and user-centered experiences across our products. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers, and subject matter experts to simplify complex concepts, design effective product experiences, and ensure content is an integral part of the product development process.

This role goes beyond writing UI copy. It involves understanding user needs, solving content and usability challenges, establishing consistent terminology, and creating scalable content patterns that help users navigate complex products with confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Putting our users first, your work will be grounded in empathy, drawing upon user research and feedback.
  • Design clear, user-centered content for product interfaces, including labels, buttons, forms, tooltips, notifications, and error messages, and simplify complex technical concepts and workflows through effective content design.
  • Contribute to content guidelines, terminology resources, and design systems.
  • You’ll remove critical assumptions from our user data, design patterns, and communication style to help improve our product delivery.
  • You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure consistency, voice, tone, and brand appeal.
  • You’ll explore AI-assisted content workflows to improve efficiency while maintaining quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • You’ll frequently plan and educate peers, managers, and stakeholders on the importance of communication, processes, methods, tools, and your work impact.
  • You’ll identify goals and metrics you plan to achieve at frequent intervals.
  • Use user research, feedback, and usability insights to improve product experiences.
  • Review implemented experiences to ensure content quality and consistency.

The role involves performing duties requiring the application of professional expertise and the exercise of independent judgment/discretion, creativity, problem-solving, and decision-making in carrying out responsibilities, as applicable to the position. The specific responsibilities of the role may vary based on business needs and role requirements. Employees can refer to the applicable guidelines and career frameworks for additional information regarding role expectations and responsibilities.

  • Native or C2 level proficiency in English.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in enterprise UX
  • Experience in publishing or editing
  • Experience working with content and design toolsets and workflows
  • Familiarity with tools such as Figma

  • Quantification of your work impact
  • Involvement in the product/project lifecycle
  • Exposure to other disciplines and collaboration work style.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
