About Nuvo
We’re Redefining the $11T B2B Commerce and Payments Market
Nearly everything you buy, from food to medicine, from building materials to auto parts, passes through a chain of businesses before it reaches your hands. But every handoff between them still runs on paperwork, phone calls, and spreadsheets. Nuvo is building the agentic commerce network to bring global trade online: shared infrastructure for everything from verification to invoicing to payment, with AI agents that can automate routine tasks so humans can focus on judgment. With 200k+ businesses already run on the Nuvo network today, and backed by $45M from Sequoia, Spark, Founders Fund, and Index, we're building the operating system for global commerce.
The Role
We're hiring a Senior Manager, Events, Field & Community to own how Nuvo shows up in person and in the professional community we serve. Our buyers are credit managers, AR leaders, and finance executives at distributors and manufacturers. They know each other, they trust each other's recommendations, and a lot of their decisions get shaped in rooms together: at industry conferences, association chapter meetings, and over dinner with peers. Your job is to not only put Nuvo in those rooms, but make us the can’t-miss vendor each and every time.
You'll own the whole program. That starts with our planned conference calendar, but quickly extends to the strategy for where we go next. You’ll own all things events & field, both in-person and virtual, as well as our Customer Advisory Board. You'll work closely with Sales, Account Management, Partnerships, and Growth Marketing, and you'll own the pipeline number your programs produce.
This role reports to the Head of Marketing and is based in-person in any of our office locations (San Francisco, New York City, or Denver). We anticipate this role to have 20-30% travel, mostly focused around conference seasons.
What You'll Do
Own strategy, budget, and execution for Nuvo's conference and trade-show program, from sponsorship negotiation and booth design through staffing, lead capture, and follow-up Run and then build on our existing 2027 events, field, and community calendar Decide what comes next: which events to add, which to cut, and which formats (executive dinners, regional roadshows, field events, webinars, virtual roundtables) deserve budget Design hosted experiences like dinners, receptions, and networking events that buyers and customers actually want to attend, and fill them with the right people Run Nuvo's Customer Advisory Board: manage our members, design the agenda, run the sessions, and turn what we hear into product input, references, and expansion Build community among credit and AR professionals, including Nuvo-hosted programs like our Women Leaders in Credit & Finance networking event, and partnerships with associations like NACM and CRF Partner with Growth Marketing and Sales on account-based marketing, owning the in-person and field touches that move target accounts forward Work with Sales and Account Management on pre-event meeting-setting, booth staffing, and follow-up so every event shows up in pipeline Report on event ROI: meetings booked, pipeline sourced and influenced, cost per lead, and what we'll change next time Manage event vendors, agencies, and contractors, and keep logistics, shipping, swag, and budgets on track Use AI tools and our in-house systems for lead capture, list enrichment, invitations, and follow-up, so a small team can run a big calendar
Who You Are
