_Would you like to help develop financial models, applications, and quantitative solutions that support our trading of financial instruments in Nykredit Markets? Are you motivated by combining financial insight, technology, and quantitative analysis in a high-performing environment with strong expertise, significant responsibility, and visible impact? _A key part of Nykredit Markets’ new strategy is a comprehensive upgrade of our quant platform and models. In Quantitative Solutions, we are responsible for this initiative and are currently developing Dragonfly – a modern, scalable, and highly optimized quant platform used for market making, pricing, and risk management of financial instruments across asset classes.

We are therefore looking for a Desk Quant who wants to work close to the business and contribute to developing and maintaining solutions used daily by traders, sales professionals, and other specialists in Nykredit Markets.

**Your primary responsibilities:

**

  • Trading support: Work closely with our trading desks and contribute to daily market activities where Dragonfly and other quant solutions are used.
  • Financial modeling and quantitative analysis: Configure, analyze, and apply our models for pricing and risk management of financial products.
  • Development of analytics applications: Design, develop, and maintain Dragonfly applications and tools for the business.
  • Model setup and risk calculations: Contribute to the setup, maintenance, and further development of models and risk calculations in both Dragonfly and other trading systems.
  • Monitoring and optimizing production flows: Ensure robust processes, high data quality, and stable operation of our models and quant platform.
  • Markets-focused use of AI: Help identify and implement AI-driven solutions where they create business value.

**Are you the one we are looking for?

**We welcome applications from recent graduates, final-year Master’s students, and candidates with up to three years of relevant work experience. Depending on your qualifications and experience, the role will be at Analyst or Associate level.

We expect that you:

  • hold a relevant university degree in finance, economics, natural sciences, or engineering, with strong academic results,
  • have strong analytical skills and are motivated by solving complex financial challenges,
  • have a solid understanding of quantitative modeling and financial theory,
  • have programming experience in Python and strong Excel skills,
  • have an interest in, and preferably experience with, AI or machine learning,
  • thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong performance focus and multiple parallel tasks,
  • have an interest in financial markets and products.

**Your new team

**You will join the QS Pricing & Structuring team, one of three teams in Quantitative Solutions. We are a department with a high level of professional expertise, where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous development are central to our day-to-day work. The department consists of desk quants, quant developers, and financial engineers. Together, we ensure that Nykredit Markets has the right models, applications, and analytical decision support to remain at the forefront of the market.
