The posting

Would you like to help develop the next generation of quantitative models, tools, and AI solutions in Nykredit Markets? Do you thrive at the intersection of financial markets, technology, and innovation, and are you motivated by turning complex challenges into concrete solutions? Then this could be the opportunity for you.

A key part of Nykredit Markets’ new strategy is a comprehensive upgrade of our quant platform and models. In Quantitative Solutions, we are responsible for this initiative and are currently developing Dragonfly — a modern, scalable, and highly optimized quant platform used for market making, pricing, and risk management of financial instruments across asset classes.

We are therefore looking for a Quantitative Developer who wants to work closely with the business and help develop and maintain solutions used daily by traders, sales professionals, and other specialists in Nykredit Markets.

Your primary responsibilities:

  • Design and development of analytics applications: Design, develop, and maintain Dragonfly applications and tools for pricing, risk management, and modeling of financial markets and instruments.
  • Building scalable and robust quant infrastructure: Ensure that our quant platform and models run reliably and scale effectively, from infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to monitoring and operations.
  • Monitoring and optimizing production flows: Ensure robust processes, high data quality, and stable operation of our models and quant platform.
  • Staying ahead with AI and new technology: Identify relevant AI use cases and help turn them into business solutions that create value in Markets and for our clients.
  • Quantitative analysis and technical problem-solving: Work on complex financial and technological challenges and translate technical or quantitative analyses into concrete improvements and new opportunities.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We welcome applications from recent graduates, final-year Master’s students, and candidates with up to three years of relevant work experience. Depending on your qualifications and experience, the role will be at Analyst or Associate level.

We expect that you:

  • hold a relevant university degree in finance, economics, IT, natural sciences, or engineering, with strong academic results,
  • have strong software development and programming skills, including experience with Python and modern application development,
  • have an interest in, and preferably experience with, AI or machine learning,
  • are familiar with generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, or modern AI tools,
  • understand software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems,
  • are analytically strong and motivated by solving complex financial and technical challenges,
  • communicate effectively and collaborate well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders,
  • have an interest in financial markets and quantitative analysis.

Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Foundry, cloud-native technologies, MLOps, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Django, React, or web development is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Your new team

You will join the QS Financial Engineering team, one of three teams in Quantitative Solutions. We are a department with a high level of professional expertise, where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous development are central to our day-to-day work. The department consists of desk quants, quant developers, and financial engineers. Together, we ensure that Nykredit Markets has the right models, applications, and analytical decision-support capabilities to remain in the strongest possible position in the market.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.
