Permanent Part-Time Playworker - Term time only

About the role

We are seeking to appoint a Playworker to support children attending Breakfast Club and

After School Club provision in our school.

The successful candidate will work with children from across the EYFS and primary age range

supporting activities, breakfast and snack times as well as engaging with children and leading

activities.

The hours of work are to a total of 22.5 hours per week and arranged between 7:30am -

6:00pm, Monday - Friday, term time only. Additional hours may be available depending

on the level of demand for the service. This is a permanent contract.

We are a friendly and hardworking staff who will welcome a flexible, dedicated person able to

support the ethos of this caring school.

Oak Cottage Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of

children and young people and expects its staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

An enhanced DBS and medical questionnaire will be required for this position and preemployment

checks carried out. All shortlisted applicants will be subject to an on-line

search.

Salary: Band A, Point 3

Hours: 22.5 hrs per week

Weeks: 39 weeks per year, term-time only

Please note an adjustment will be made to salary for starting part way through the academic

year.
