Box Truck/ Straight Truck Pickup and Delivery Driver We are on the lookout for individuals who are ready to drive their careers forward as part of our team of local Pick-up & Delivery / Box Truck Drivers.  Standard driver’s license is all that you need.  We will put you through our in-house Class A CDL program.  Join the Oak Harbor Freight Lines family, where success and tradition meet in a regional trucking story spanning over a century. With over 110 years and counting of dedicated service across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona and California, we are more than just a company – we are a legacy.   Are you ready to be part of our journey?   Job Description This position involves driving 24’ to 26’ box trucks/ straight trucks deliveries and pickups involve using liftgates, power pallet jacks, and other provided equipment to move freight at customer locations. Our drivers work Monday – Friday with weekends off. Requirements

At least 21 years of age. Standard Driver’s license. Valid DOT Medical Certification Must have a clean driving record.  No DUI or positive drug/alcohol screen in the past 3 years Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and supervisor/ management team.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate box trucks/ straight trucks of different sizes Adapting to challenging conditions like inclement weather and various road conditions Ability to meet the company’s dependability standards for employees Ability to chain as needed and to work in inclement weather as required Availability to work weekends and / or nights if needed Other duties as assigned

Overtime after 8 hours daily Oak Harbor Freight Lines offers an internal, get paid while training program to become a Class A Driver. Medical, dental, vision – you choose which plan suits you and your family needs.

Single person pays up to 2% of gross income. Entire family pays up to 4% of gross income.
