Job Summary

Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations in the semiconductor industry, leading a team to meet KPIs, manage inventory with WMS and SAP, ensure safety and compliance, and drive continuous improvement through 5S, Kaizen, and LEAN practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise logistics assistants and team leads to execute daily warehouse activities efficiently
  • Drive the team to achieve Key Performance Indicators and department operational goals
  • Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with operational procedures
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance; conduct annual appraisals and address performance issues promptly per company policies
  • Train new logistics assistants to maintain operational standards
  • Manage ad-hoc logistics projects to support business needs
  • Plan, coach, and counsel team members to improve performance and deliver expected outcomes
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and LEAN to achieve operational excellence
  • Communicate departmental changes effectively to all team members
  • Manage inventory accurately using internal Warehouse Management System (WMS) and customer SAP systems
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing with all necessary supporting documentation
  • Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI)
  • Maintain secure storage and traceability of customer documents and records
  • Capture and update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), order management, and turnaround time metrics regularly
  • Compile and analyze monthly KPI reports to maintain consistent performance and recommend improvements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma with 2-3 years of relevant experience in warehouse or logistics operations
