The ideal candidate is a full-stack engineer who thrives in a cloud-native environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and can provide technical leadership while partnering closely with product, engineering, and operations teams.

Full-Stack development experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Software Design & Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Node.js and TypeScript on the backend and Svelte on the frontend.
  • Build high-performance, system-level services and tools using Rust where reliability and speed are critical
  • Contribute to React Native mobile features and collaborate with mobile-focused engineers when needed
  • Design, develop, and administer PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and routine maintenance
  • Manage and maintain Unix/Linux server environments, including scripting, process management, and system configuration
  • Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes
  • Work with AWS services, including ECS for container orchestration and S3 for object storage and static asset management
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical documentation
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and security vulnerabilities across the stack
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies

Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to engineering team members.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through collaboration, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Promote engineering best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
  • Help identify technical debt and recommend strategic improvements.

Quality & Operational Excellence

  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality, security, and performance standards.
  • Support CI/CD processes and DevOps practices to enable reliable software delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while participating in operational support activities.
  • Participate in monitoring, observability, and incident response efforts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of business objectives.

Current Technology Stack (Candidates are not expected to have experience with every technology listed below. We recognize that strong engineers bring transferable skills and may have expertise in related technologies. Experience with a subset of these technologies, combined with a willingness to learn, is welcomed.) Front-end: [React / Angular / Vue / TypeScript / JavaScript — confirm stack]

  • Back-end: [Java / .NET / Node.js / Python / Go — confirm stack]
  • APIs: RESTful services, integration patterns, and service-oriented architecture
  • Databases: [PostgreSQL / SQL Server / MySQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB — confirm stack]
  • Cloud: [AWS / Azure / Google Cloud — confirm platform]
  • DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and production support
  • Tools: Git, Jira, build pipelines, code review tools, and observability platforms

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
