Technical Customer Consultant (m/w/d)

Du gehst technischen Problemen gerne auf den Grund, bis Du die Ursache gefunden hast? Du kennst Dich mit Systemen, Datenbanken und Netzwerken aus und möchtest Dein Know-how in einem internationalen Unternehmen mit gesellschaftlichem und pädagogischem Einfluss einsetzen? Dann werde als Technical Customer Consultant Teil unseres 6-köpfigen Teams für unsere Plattform BIBLIOTHECAnext in unserem Büro in Böhl-Iggelheim.

Deine Aufgaben

Als Technical Customer Consultant sorgst Du dafür, dass BIBLIOTHECAnext und unsere Services für Bibliotheken zuverlässig laufen: in unserer Hosting-Umgebung und bei unseren Kund*innen vor Ort.

  • Problemlöser*in: Du übernimmst den Second-Level-Support. Du analysierst Incidents und Probleme in Produktiv- und Testumgebungen und löst sie zusammen mit Entwicklung, DBAs sowie den Infrastruktur- und Netzwerkteams.
  • Systembetreuer*in: Du betreust und überwachst unsere Produkte und Services. Du planst Wartungsarbeiten, Patches und Upgrades und baust das Monitoring weiter aus.
  • Projektbeteiligte*r: Du arbeitest in Implementierungsprojekten mit und bereitest technische Umgebungen für neue Kund*innen vor.
  • Optimierer*in: Du prüfst bestehende Services auf Performance, Kapazität und mögliche Schwachstellen. Wiederkehrende Aufgaben automatisierst Du, und Verbesserungsideen bringst Du aktiv ein.
  • Schnittstelle zum Produktmanagement: Du unterstützt bei der Produktentwicklung und übersetzt betriebliche Anforderungen in konkrete Lösungen.
  • Mitgestalter*in: Du analysierst Lösungen von Drittanbietern für unsere Anwendungen, bewertest ihre Auswirkungen und Risiken und wirkst bei Architektur-Reviews mit.
  • Wissensvermittler*in: Du dokumentierst Lösungen und gibst Dein Wissen an das Team weiter.

Deine Basis Du hast eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung im IT-Bereich oder ein Bachelor- bzw. Masterstudium in einem IT-nahen Fach absolviert.

Deine fachliche Stärke

  • Du kennst dich in einer Microsoft-geprägten IT-Umgebung aus und fühlst dich in Netzwerken sowie bei aktuellen Server- und Client-Betriebssystemen zu Hause.
  • Du hast Erfahrung in der Administration von Datenbanksystemen wie Oracle oder MS SQL Server.

Das macht dich aus

  • Du gehst Probleme eigenständig an, arbeitest sorgfältig und bleibst auch dann ruhig und lösungsorientiert, wenn es einmal hektisch wird.
  • Du arbeitest gern im Team, fühlst dich in internationalen Kontexten wohl und kommunizierst klar und verständlich, auch mit Kunden.
  • Du sprichst sehr gut Deutsch und gut Englisch, in Wort und Schrift.

Das ist ein Plus, aber kein Muss

  • Du bringst bereits mindestens ein Jahr Erfahrung im technischen Kundenservice oder vergleichbare Kenntnisse mit.
  • Du kennst dich mit IIS (Internet Information Services) und RDS (Remote Desktop Services) aus.
  • Du hast erste Erfahrungen mit KI-Anwendungen wie Claude gesammelt oder bist neugierig, sie im Arbeitsalltag einzusetzen.
