The posting

Het lokaal bestuur Dentergem zoekt enthousiaste (hulp)kinderbegeleiders om de buitenschoolse opvang (IBO) te versterken.

Je biedt een warm, veilig en speels klimaat aan kinderen van 2,5 tot 12 jaar. Je stimuleert hen met creatieve en gevarieerde activiteiten, zorgt mee voor structuur, hygiëne, vertrouwen en een gezellige sfeer. Je speelt actief mee, werkt vlot samen met collega’s en signaleert waar nodig. Je werkt rechtstreeks onder leiding van de algemeen directeur, de adjunct en de deskundigen jeugd & ibo.

Wat doe je?

  • Je bent actief binnen meerdere IBO's van het lokaal bestuur (vijf locaties) als vlinder.
  • Je draagt zorg voor vertrouwen, een gezellige sfeer, huiselijkheid, geborgenheid, aandacht en respect voor het individuele kind.
  • Je staat in voor het hanteren van regels en normen, gezag en conflicten.
  • Je neemt gemotiveerd deel aan het spel van de kinderen. Kijkt niet toe hoe de kinderen spelen, maar speelt mee op een zo divers mogelijke wijze.
  • Je zorgt voor de lichamelijke verzorging of hygiëne en de veiligheid van de kinderen.
  • Je volgt zoals alle andere collega’s de afgesproken taakverdeling binnen de uurroosters perfect op. Iedereen heeft respect voor elkaars taak. Dit veronderstelt stiptheid en tegelijkertijd flexibiliteit. Indien de noodzaak zich voordoet, neemt een begeleider spontaan een taak van een collega over.
  • Je houdt dagelijks de aanwezigheden bij.
  • Je signaleert problemen met de kinderen, de ouders, de collega’s en de algemene werking.
  • Je staat mee in voor zowel lichte onderhouds- en opruimtaken als het poetsen van de IBO-locaties, zodat de kinderen steeds in een propere, veilige en aangename omgeving worden opgevangen.
  • Indien nodig, kan het uitvoeren van middagtoezicht (toezicht tijdens de middagpauze op school) ook aan je takenpakket toegevoegd worden.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een gekwalificeerd diploma kinderzorg OF je hebt de motivatie om als hulpbegeleid(st)er zonder diploma mee in te stappen.
  • Je bent flexibel, positief, betrokken en collegiaal.
